Very solidly made! Heavy metal with excellent functionality. It makes it possible for a 56 year old woman to drive T-posts into hard summer dirt. With this I had to pound it maybe 5 times before the post was set.

It's a simple tool. Well built and effective.

I use it for my T post. A heavier one my have worked better but for what I need - the occasional use, this was a great purchase, good value, and well made.

I'm old and out of shape but still determined to do it myself. I started with a mallet and I have no words for the pain after that are appropriate here.This was so incredibly easy! Now, there is some weight to it, but it works to your advantage! The handles were comfortable. Easy to use, easier than a mallet by far!!!If only there was a tool this easy for those gosh darn clips!I call this a post hammer and I highly recommend it!

This post driver appears to be well made and makes driving light weight steel fence posts much easier in my garden. I have driven heavier posts 7 ft tall without dragging out the old ladder. It is hard to swing a sledge hammer from an unsteady ladder on soft ground.
