Knowing how expensive our Dyson V7 Animal portable vacuum was several years ago, we were assuming that replacement batteries would be expensive (and they are - $95 for a replacement battery alone from the Dyson website). We then perused the Amazon site and saw this 3rd-party EGR Advanced 6000mAh V7 Animal Battery Replacement, and noticed all the top-notch reviews.After reading some of the reviews, we ordered this EGR Advanced 6000mAh V7 Animal Battery Replacement, and we're glad that we did. It costs roughly half the price of the OEM Dyson version, but more so, it also comes with 3–4 filters that we were not aware of. These filters connect at the top of the handle portion (we never knew that). So you're getting a great deal here.Additionally, this battery has more lasting power than the OEM version, which I found interesting and welcoming. One charge has lasted us for a few weeks, whereas previously, we would have had to charge every week.So if you're looking for a replacement battery for your Dyson V7 Animal vacuum (which is what we have), look no further than this wonderful replacement. I was a bit skeptical about ordering a replacement battery for my Dyson V8, but this one exceeded expectations. My original battery was dying after just a few minutes of use, and it made vacuuming incredibly frustrating.This replacement battery was easy to install — just a few screws and it snapped right in. I never knew I would use my Dyson hand vacuum as much as I have. It has been heavily loved, but as time passed the battery lost ita juice. I found this replacement battery and figured it was worth a try. It has been worth every penny. My once 5 second use due to lost battery power, is now a full 15-20 minutes of use. I no longer have to plug it in after each use, and can use the Max Power button when in use. This vacuum helps with kids mess, car mess, and tons of other quick-clean messes. I thought I would have to replace the vacuum; happy to report I dont. The quality is just as good as it was when I first purchased the vacuum.It didn't take but a few minutes to replace the battery, and it even came with replacement filters. I could only use the one, as I have a V7, not V8. Nonetheless- I'd repurchase again and again!

Very easy to install in my V8. Battery was basically dead after 3 years (hardly held a charge) so got this to replace. Immediately started working better again. Doesn't change any suction power, but maybe the other reviews that said suction is better actually had dirty filters that they replaced with the filters that came with the battery. Our filters were very clean, so no suction changed

Worked great for 8 months and then completely stopped charging. I kept the old Dyson battery and confirmed it wasn't the charger. The Dyson battery lasted 5 years and still sort of works it just doesn't have the same longevity. So in my experience $70 gets you 8 months. I'll probably just buy a new Dyson that comes with a good battery.Update: I had kept the box which I noticed said the battery has a 1 year warranty. I contacted the seller through the Amazon app. After a few messages and photographic proof that the battery wasn't working they sent me a new battery. I appreciate that they are standing by their product and honoring their warranty.

Bought this replacement battery for my Dyson V8 and it works just like the original. Easy to install and holds a good charge. The bonus two filters are really handy—nice to have extras ready to swap out.

Bought to replace another battery for Dyson DC-44 hand vacuum. Previous replacement battery, 4000 mAh, failed after a couple of years with very minimal use. This new EGR Upgraded 6200mAh DC35 battery appeared to be a good replacement. The new EGR battery came with a good instruction guide. The previous battery came with no documentation. The EGR battery's guide identified not letting the battery be un-used for long periods of time. "Lithium has a self-discharge phenomenon. It is recommended to use the battery every 2-3 weeks." Great to learn about frequent use. Previous battery was used very infrequently and left on charger. Appreciate the 6200 mAh capacity with the EGR battery and the 2 included replacement air filters. Removal of old battery and installation of new EGR battery on Dyson DC-44 animal vacuum was very easy, only pushing a button on the back that releases the battery. Some on-line videos showed removing two screws that do not exist on the DC-44 animal vacuum. The DC-44 now has great suction with the EGR higher milli-amp-hour capacity. I am delighted with this battery and the manufacturer's supplied information and accessories. ***Now updating since having for several months. Charged fully upon receiving. Then not charging and using one or more times a week. Took far longer than expected to totally drain battery for another charge. Continue to not charge battery after charges until totally discharged. Very pleased with the power the battery continues to deliver to Dyson animal hand held vacuum. This is a great battery!

Bought this when my Dyson was playing up and not running consistently. Great battery replacement just had to charge it for about 45 minutes after attaching and it’s been awesome so far. Glad I researched this avenue before investing in an official Dyson battery- this is great value.
