Love it! Great replacement. I was always holding onto broken guitars I would find at flea markets or whatever to Frankenstein my old guitar back to life. Finally a new one! Works flawlessly, great charge, no more batteries. Nice buttons. And the strum feels nice. Not as “clicky” as the Guitar Hero ones but not as “mushy” as the Rockband stratos. A perfect middle ground. It’s just so smooth.

I bought the PS4/PS5 version.I have tested it with a PS5 console with Rock Band 4 (PS4) and Fortnite Festival (PS5)Both work with the guitar in PS5 mode. Don't have to switch to play Rock Band.I've had several guitar hero and rock band guitars.Is it the best Rock Band guitar I've ever used?Yes. I've tried every strat and this feels way better in my opinion. I can activate ovedrive with my pinky with the Dpad and so far I have not overstrum'd because of it (it always happened to me in other RB guitars)Is it the best guitar I've ever used?No. I still prefer the Guitar Hero style strumming and the star power/overdrive activation of the Guitar Hero 5 guitar.But we've got to keep in mind how many years have passed since we've been able to actually buy a new guitar.The guitar itself feels solid. Way more robust than any other rock band guitar I've ever used. Sadly the shiny plastic will not last long. Would have prefered a mat finish to avoid fingerprints or easy scratches.This guitar does not have the microphone and light sensor built in to auto-calibrate with the console likep revious rock band guitars.Personally I don't mind since Fortnite Festival does not support auto calibration and I never felt auto calibration did a good job.Also the port is for charging ONLY. This guitar does not work wired and if you are low on batteries you would need to plug the receiver dongle on the console AND a USB C cable to charge the guitar at the same time.

Purchased this for my teenage Daughter who now has a new game console and wanted Rock Band on another platform than she had previously. We purchased the guitar and are quite impressed with the response time and the controls on the back and sides of the neck. you can now play on the lower end of the neck near the body of the guitar, which is really neat, overdrive, and there is a wireless joystick on reverse for control buttons. It also collapses for ease of storage and comes with the guitar strap, wireless card and the beloved old whammy bar. Better than the previous Rock Band guitars we have had in the past on other platforms. My Daughter spends a bit too much time on this, but needed something to calm her nerves and help with her fine motor skills, and it is helping her. Very happy with this purchase!

I was very hesitant to buy this as I've read a lot of opinions about if it works or not on CH on Mac. Answer: It does work!!! I'm using the latest CH version on Mac Air with M2 and Sonoma.Caveats:1.- It's not bluetooth, in the manual it says it's radio frequency 2.4 or something so it needs to be connected using the included dongle which is USB-A so you may need to buy an USB-A to C adapter.2.- Connect the guitar and press space bar, CH will recognize it immediately however you need to map the buttons, very easy and straight forward.3.- Tilt and whammy don't work. I'm not sure if you need to calibrate or something but for now it's not working for me.3.- If you are going to play local multiplayer, make sure to have your other instrument plugged before you plug the guitar so you can use the guitar as player 2, otherwise it will be connected as player 1 and you will have both controllers connected to player 1.

My wife and I recently wanted to get back into guitar hero or rock band. If you look for the guitars on ebay or other websites they charge a ridiculous amount for them. This guitar is a reasonable price and honestly out performs all the old guitars. I love that the guitar folds for easy storage, the buttons feel nice and are silent so no annoying clacking like the old guitars. I also love how easy it is to connect the guitars to your console or computer and the battery life is amazing. Definitely happy with these.

Love playing Rock Band. I was down to one Guitar/Bass and of course finding them has been painful for years. So, when I found this I figured it was worth a shot. Well, I loved it so much I bought a second one that is still (MONTHS LATER) in the box. At some point I will likely pull the spare out to charge it occasionally to protect the battery pack.I am using on a PS4 and have had zero issues so far.I would recommend.

4/29 追記先日のSteamクライアントのアップデートで、ワーミーが認識されるようになったので星5にしました。ViGEmBusなどは必要ありません。ただし、ティルトはRSボタンに割り振られてしまってちょっと挙動がおかしいかも。---Steam版のヘブンリーギターズで使うために購入。ゲーム自体はコントローラーに対応していないけれど、Steam入力でキーボードを割り振ればプレイできました。ただしティルトとワーミーバーはPCが認識しないので、Steam入力でもアサインできません。それをPCに認識させるには特殊なソフトやドライバをいくつか入れる必要があるのですが、プレイする際にあれを設定してこれを立ち上げて・・・とスマートじゃないので、どうせ使わなくても充分にプレイ出来るしと、無いものとして扱っています。いつか別のゲームをやるのに必要になったら考えようかなと。商品自体は、割と出来が良いです。流石に本物のエレキギターよりは一回り小さくて軽いけれど、ゲームをプレイするには何の問題もありません。ギター型コントローラーは昔のギターフリークスのいかにもオモチャなものしか知らなかったので、それに比べると雲泥の差です。1万円以下で買えるギターコントローラーとしてはかなりコスパは良いと思います。個人評価は満点に近いのですが、ただやはりPCでワーミーがデフォルトでは使えないという点が大きなネックなので、星一つ減らしました。

versión de ps5, ¿a qué vas a jugar si no hay juegos? el fornite es más una broma que un juego, y el rockband 4 no se vende en digital, solo lo puedes conseguir en segunda mano. Pero y en PC? Pues en PC de forma nativa, sin hacer nada da la impresión de que no va a funcionar, pero hay software de terceros que hace que funcione en su totalidad, incluido palanca de vibrato e inclinación de la guitarra, en apps como clone hero o versiones de GH antiguas. Pero necesitas dar con el tutorial adecuado. Eso sí, una vez puesto funciona super bien, y hay cientos o miles de canciones en PC

As an avid guitar hero player, I can say this is far better than any guitar controller I've used. Side bonus.. for small kids (small hands) the high fret set of smaller buttons makes things much easier for them not having to stretch so far to reach buttons.Quality is good, style cosmetically is best I've seen, battery life isnt terrible at all. I have no complaints.Well if I'm being nit picky lol, having a button for overdrive that is easy access would be cool. The button on this guitar I find I mess up my streak trying to hit it. But I can prob fix that in festival game settings and just haven't figured it out yet. (I prefer how in guitar hero just lifting the neck up to the sky activated overdrive)

The Riffmaster guitar made by PDP is simply one of the best guitars I've ever owned. It feels sturdy even though it's lightweight, the frets are good (even though it's a pain to hit HOPO's) and the strum bar is excellent - fast alt strumming is so much easier now (I was playing songs with sections like this on RB4 - Black Magic, Heir Apparent etc) and I hardly broke my x4 multiplier when I have using GH/RB strats guitars in the past.There are a couple of nitpicks of course - the whammy bar is springy and if you go to far down with it it can catch the pause button and if you're going for a FC it can mess you up, and also sometimes the strum bar doesn't register standard speed alt strums. The ability to choose between PS4 and PS5 is awesome, and the fact it's totally wireless (up to 40 hours on a single charge) is a welcome plus, saves having to scout for 2 AA batteries every time.I think PDP have done a fab job with this but I think if they make more of these down the line maybe they should cure the original faults this one has even though there aren't many. Overall, a bloody amazing guitar and I'm having so much fun with it.
