This works great. When building diorama or small crawler corse it is easy to use with out having a cord on the project.

Heats up quickly and stays hot for the duration of any project! Great find!

Takes small diameter sticks. Works best with 6ah batteries

This works fantastic! I love that it is battery operated. Becareful when putting it back in the charger holder. If you force it it will bend the connections and wont charge anymore.

I've been crafty as long as I could remember. And the hot glue gun has been a staple in my craft arsenal from the beginning. Mine has seen it's days. After running into this wireless one, I had to give it a try. It blew me away. So here are my thoughts: Heat Level: Actually stays really hot after you remove it from the base for a long time. I was surprised by this! Yet also impressed. Ease of Use: The fact that I wasn't tethered to a wire anymore was a game changer, and make it SO easy to use! Battery Life: Depends on which Ryobi battery you're using, but it has never died on me, so I'd say it holds well. Conclusion: This gun works really well and I'm so excited to finally have a new glue gun, it was time. The only catch really, was that it takes a smaller glue stick size, which I wish it took a bigger size. But not a deal breaker.

Works great when you plug battery in it last a long time other then that wish it came with more then 3 glue sticks but worth it for the price

Broke on my second use. Worked fine and next day, didn't heat up anymore

I've used this a few times now. It doesn't run the battery down that much when left on and is perfect for gluing in odd awkward places. There's no 'ready' indicator, you just have to leave it long enough to melt the glue. Great for doing DIY stuff outside. The only drawback so far, is it chomps through 7mm sticks very quickly. Great tool though and good value. UPDATE: Auto 'off' after a period of inactivity would be beneficial for anyone that forgets they turned in on and takes the Mrs shopping (*ahem*). Would be nice if gun locked to the base for storage / transport.

Was skeptical of paying out a decent amount of money but needed a glue gun for a project and i already had ryobi batteries. The fact its cordless made this so much easier to use plus the gun stayed hot for at least 4-5 min after taking out of the holder but heats up again really quickly. What would be nice... having a ready heat indicator... However i'm happy enough with the price i paid and performance to forgive this. Far better than cheap £10 ones from hardware stores!
