I take one a day and pretty much keeps me from having a gout flair-up. Of course, sometimes too much ice cream or other gout triggers in my diet may cause a flair-up I simply take an extra one per day and I'm back in control. I love this ability to control my pain.

My husband suffered a stroke 2 years ago. His right side, including his right leg, are weak. He experienced a serious bout of gout in his left foot with debilitating pain. With his left foot so painful he could barely stand on his left foot, and his right leg/foot so weak he could barely stand on his right foot, it was nearly impossible for him to transfer from wheelchair to toilet, from wheelchair to bed, etc. A friend told us about Tart Cherry juice which helps prevent gout flareups. He drinks 2 ounces each morning, but he can't drink the juice at night because it will cause him to need to use the bathroom again. These tart cherry pills are super. No added sugar, and so easy to take at night. He's been using these Tart Cherry pills for over 18 months and no more flarups!

edit: this company is standing behind it's product. Since I was not satisfied, they did reach out to me to follow up and see how to make things better.This tart cherry, didn't work as well as the combo I use before. After reading the ingredients on both I realized that the tart cherry extract in this one is only 4:1 and in my previous it's 10:1:. I use this to help with my fibromyalgia pain and unfortunately it this one did not help.

Funny, for the 1st time since March 2019 my uric acid levels are down from 9.1 to 6.5. My primary was amazed but here's my dilemma.I added 2 tabs 2x per day for a week before I did my blood draw but I continued taking the Uloric per my doctor so all I can say after 3 tests is, 9.0. 9.1, 9.1 and finally the 6.5.So as of Dec.1 2019 for 30-45 days I will stop the Uloric, take the uric acid capsules and 1 oz. of Aloe Vera twice a day only, take another blood test and report back. I truly hope it's the capsules.I HATE TAKING MEDS!
