Versatile, aesthetic and functional gaming keyboard
I was trying to find a gaming keyboard versatile enough to be used for both gaming and for just normal typing, without having a very loud clacking sound. This keyboard is perfect for me - it feels and sounds smooth enough that it isn't distracting. The keyboard feels durable and heavy in a good way (you can feel it's good quality rather than cheap, weak plastic). You have a few different RGB options to play with, and whilst there isn't an app for you to configure these in, there are keyboard shortcuts you can follow to change the colours according to your preference. This was fine for me at the price I purchased this for.

Yep. Nice solid keyboard.
Great keyboard for a first time gaming teen. Substantial build quality and feels good to use. Confidently clicky if that’s such a sentence - colours are nice too. Lots of options to choose from. 4 stars as it lacks RGB control direct from a computer, like so many other RGB addons (fans, memory, coolers). Worth it though.

The BEST Keyboard EVER
In all honesty , this is THE best keyboard i have ever used! The red switches feel oh soooooo good to type on and sound amazing and if you dont like the red switches , its hot swappable! Even comes with a tool to remove the switches to replace them. I would highly recommend this keyboard for any set up , no software required just plug in and play

Best Keyboard I Have Owned (for a while)
The keys feel, especially the spacebar—they're perfectly lubed to perfection, and I can't ask for more! The downside is that all the lighting and keyboard controls are managed directly on the keyboard instead of through a driver or software. UPDATE: July 28th, 2025—RGB lighting is malfunctioning or not working at times.

La tastiera CHERRY XTRFY K5V2 Compact è la prima tastiera meccanica che abbia mai acquistato. La tastiera è compatta e permette di mantenere un mouse non troppo distante verso un lato. La qualità costruttiva dei tasti, degli switch e della scocca è eccellente, dove ogni componente esterno può essere sostituito. Gli switch rossi CHERRY MX2A RED producono un suono lieve, non eccessivamente presente, e rendono molto piacevole la sensazione al tatto durante la scrittura. Le combinazioni di colori, configurabili direttamente dalla tastiera senza software aggiuntivo, sono gradevoli e danno modo di cambiare l'aspetto della tastiera a riposo e quando viene premuto ogni tasto. Al momento, la tastiera è collegata a un Mac mini con chip M4 tramite connessione USB-C e funziona perfettamente, nonostante il layout dei tasti non sia specifico per macOS. Il layout inglese è inoltre comodo sotto alcuni aspetti, anche considerando la facilità con cui si possano inserire lettere accentate in altri modi. Consiglio assolutamente di acquistare questa tastiera, anche come prima tastiera meccanica!
