I was very pleased to see how well these little thumb devices work. Because i have arthritis in both hands, I wanted a better way of holding a book open, with less pressure from my hand. While I do have a lot of books on Kindle, I still regularly read print copies, both hard-bound and paperback. This device is a real boon; it keeps the book open comfortably wide to make for easy reading. Plus, they are made of what seems a durable plastic and look nice, as well. I highly recommend them!

Good quality doesn’t feel too cheap. The thumb hole may be a tad small or tight depending on who uses it. That’s my only compliant. They are super cute.

The first time I used this product, I was working with a particularly cumbersome hardback that had been causing me to have issues with hand cramping. As soon as I slipped the holder over my thumb, I was pleasantly pleased by how comfy it felt. The material is pliable and pliable, and it conforms to the contour of my thumb without making me feel constrained by its movement. It took me a little while to locate the ideal position, but once I found it, I was able to go through the pages without any significant difficulty. While the grasp of the holder is strong enough to prevent pages from being turned over and closed, it is also delicate enough to prevent the paper from being damaged. When it comes to reading in bed or while on public transportation, when I often only have one hand free, this has been a game-changer for me.

Very sturdy and great value. I have arthritis in my thumbs and this helps relieve stress on my joints when I read. They are small enough you can easily travel with it or carry it around. Aesthetically very good. Great value.

NOT SUITABLE FOR HARDBACKS The first HUGE issue is the hole size. I am not a large man and not even my fingers fit in it. I spent an hour filing it down to make it fit because I really wanted it to work. It does not. Having to have your hand in the middle of the book puts a lot of pressure on your joints. In this picture I point out where it physically HURTS to use this product. All of that and you still have to rest your arm on something, or use your other hand to help support it, which just defeats the whole purpose. Do not recommend. It is a cheap resin print that does not work.
