Turned my ugly cinder block into a cool wall!
I used this on my basement bathroom walls- not the shower itself. If you’re adding it to walls, you have to make sure it’s thick enough to stay or else it will run down the wall. But if it’s too thick it will dry faster so it’s a fine line. It’s hard to work with but it looks really nice after. You really have to put down plastic everywhere and tape it down. This stuff is messing to use. I used a steal type squeegee and started from the bottom and pulled it up with a plastic container underneath to catch the microcement from going on the floor. It turned my ugly cinder blocks into a very cool textured wall. I thought I ordered the white but this looks more brownish grey to me. But I do like it. Tomorrow I'm going to add the Microtech to it in white. But honestly I kinda like it like this and was thinking about keeping it as is. This took me about 6 hours to do two small walls. I’m an older petite woman and I’ve done a lot of projects around the house but this was tough. I also used a mask and eye protection all day. I added a few pictures - before and after.
