Easy and convenient
This hummus is delicious. I was looking for hummus that I could customize the amount of oil. This is perfect. I actually made it without any olive oil and I loved it. I will definitely order more. The only thing I would suggest is a little less sodium.

Extremely pungent, raw garlicky flavor
I rarely leave reviews, but I was very disappointed with this hummus and wanted to leave some feedback for the company to take into account and/or for other customers as a word of caution. The flavor is 100% raw, pungent garlic. I can still feel it prickling my tongue. I didn't expect made-from-scratch flavor and texture, I purchased this to bring along on a backpacking trip, but even judged against the standard of "backpacking food", I just can't do it. I followed the instructions exactly with the first test batch, and then even tried a few batches with various ingredients to dilute/mask the flavor, but couldn't come up with anything satisfactory. Instant hummus is a great product for packing along on backcountry trips, but this one needs a huge flavor adjustment in my opinion. I hope the company will see this feedback and make some changes, because there are few commercially available options for dehydrated hummus.

Best hummus ever. Great taste, easy to make and worth the price.

Now too salty.
This was a really good product, then a few months ago something changed and it became very garlicky. I ordered some again this past week, hoping that the online reviews had had an effect. Now it's too salty and has to be mixed with something else in order to be edible. I hope this gets fixed!

Quick and good Hummus.
Not homemade fresh ingredients great but good for add water and oil quick snack. Tweaks could make it better with your own touch I'm sure.

HUMMUS POWDER MIX PROBLEMS
FIRST TIME USING THIS PRODUCT. NEEDED MORE MIX TO FORM THE HUMMUS. HAD A SMALL BLACK HARD PARTICLE IN THE MIX. EXTREMELY SPICY HOT, BURNING FEELING, VERY SALTY. CANNOT USE. SELLER SAID THEY RECEIVED MANY REPORTS THE SAME, AND COMPLAINTS. SELLER USES A 3rd party vendor to prepare the mix. Seller said they had worked on on a NEW FORMULA to reduce the HEAVY GARLIC AND SALT USED. Apparently, the batch that had the problem is still being sold. Exp. date. 9-10-2026 Careful, burns the throat

Good but burns the mouth
Good, but why does it burn the inside of my mouth? I didn’t find it to be too garlicky, unless the garlic is what causes it to burn my mouth. Have plenty of water on hand.

Perfect for hiking and backpacking trips. This hummus has the ideal amount of sodium to keep you going on strenuous hiking and backpacking trips. It’s also a good source of protein and will keep the bears away 😂 if you dont like garlic, this is not for you!
