These tools have made trimming fun again for me. There is a tool for every trimming possibility. Of course I find myself using two primary tools but I find specific uses for almost every tool. The steel is mild but keeps a pretty good edge. The first thing I did was to harden each tool with a torch and quench. A file doesn't necessarily skate of the tools but are certainly harder and keep a more consistent edge. I keep a small file in my jar and give a quick sharpen every five uses or so and they perform very well. My favorite tool is the left angled square and I use it every day. Aside from a needle and a rib, this set has everything you need to throw and trim with. Very happy and would have paid more for the set. Review: Light weight - Variety is great for use Very sharp Smooth collection even on wet clay ## Features - One pack includes 8 types of pottery trimming tools (8 sets), which have smooth, clean, sculpting, engraving, shaping and engraving, wax and soft media, and other options to make your visual rejuvenation. - The outer layer of the handle is a black rubber sleeve, and the handle is comfortable and convenient to use. - Ceramic cutting tools, durable stainless steel sharp edge, will not bend under pressure to achieve the highest accuracy. - Each tool has a different sculpt shape and the right size to give you more flexibility in your design.
