Good quality, works well
We purchased the EGO multihead combo kit plus some other accessories last year. We have a large yard and do a lot of gardening and yardwork so it gets a lot of use. As a woman in my early 60's with some arthritis, I've found it easy to use and not too heavy. It seems to be very well made, and we've used every tool multiple times. The string trimmer especially has been easy to use, with less problems like excessive string breakage that my previous electric trimmer had, so I can get the job done quickly and without frustration. I am really looking forward to gardening and yardwork this year as the ECO has been making the heavy work so much easier.

Awesome!
Note: I already own an EGO mower, chainsaw, blower, and light. They've earned my business over the last couple years with each buy.I love this thing. I had a Husqvarna 2 stroke multi-head system that has been pretty rock-solid for the last... (wow) 8 years - props to Husqvarna... but as soon as the carb needed some maintenance again, I decided instead of getting a new carb I would just forgo any lawn equipment maintenance in the future and ordered this.I was a little worries about if it would have enough power compared to my gas-powered one after reading a few reviews. I have no idea what kind of trimmers those guys are running, but if you're not planning on chopping down trees, this thing will do the job. It seriously out-performs my old one. I would usually have to build a bit of speed to cut into the dirt with the gas edger, but this edger shows no signs of slowing down. I haven't even used the second speed on this. I can't imagine the need. I don't have a tiny yard or anything, it usually takes me 20 minutes to do the drainage canal all along the front of my house, the fence along the back and sides, garden areas, around the patio, etc. I'd call my use pretty standard, but if it were more difficult, I would not be worried at all.As for battery life... amazing. The 4.0ah didn't even drop a bar (go below 80%) the last time I used it. I'm not trying to conserve it either - I still have the reflex to "bump" it above idle in between use, lol.Cons... I guess?I'm 6'4" so I added a carabiner clip on the shoulder strap to gain an extra 2 inches to better fit me because it seems a little too short without one.Get one. It's great.

Great power, good accessories, flexible options
Quality of the product is very good. Spent way too many hours comparing Ego vs Milwaukee and others. Love the idea of battery power for my small yard. Connecting the edger or trimmer to the power head is not always easy, I typically have to twist it around push the engagement button, and generally wiggle it a bit to get what I think are the spline connections to mesh up between the accessory and the power head. The power head made a whining sound at first, but went away after a few uses. The one thing I had to adapt to was the string trimmer. The string comes out of the head about 1.5" from the bottom. My previous Shindaiwa trimmer had the string exit within 3/4", maybe less. Not big deal, but you need to get used to the idea that you need to tilt it if you want the cut height shorter than 1.5" which my lawn is.Battery life is excellent. So save weight, I use the 2.5amp battery in the edger/trimer and the 4amp battery in the ego blower. The newer power head with the digital speed is easy to use and switch between. I'm new to the whole idea of battery power, and I'm loving it. Never did like pulling on those ropes to get it started:). The Ego carbon fiber power head and accessory have worked well, quality is good, and the odds are I will purchase more Ego products.

Powerful and Surprising Battery Life
I’ve always used gas-powered hedge trimmers in the past and was a little skeptical that a battery-powered tool could match the same performance. The EGO Power+ 20-Inch Carbon Fiber Hedge Trimmer Attachment proved me wrong. This trimmer has plenty of power to cut through thick hedges without bogging down, and the carbon fiber build makes it lightweight yet sturdy. What really surprised me was the battery life—it lasted much longer than I expected, easily enough to get all my trimming done in one go without stopping to recharge. The convenience of no gas, no fumes, and less noise is a huge plus. If you’re on the fence about switching from gas to battery, this trimmer attachment will make you a believer.Highly recommended!

The power load is amazing!
The power load on the trimmer head is amazing! So easy to use and convenient. The power on both the edger and trimmer are second to none. I have a small lawn so I cannot speak to the battery life but I haven’t had any issues thus far. Stop reading this review and go purchase it now! You will not be disappointed.
