I was a little concerned that they may fail early or simply not work at all as some suggested that these don't function well with pir sensors, but after 6 months use they are still going strong so I'm happy to recommend them for this purpose.

**Q: is this lamp Dimmable? if no Do you offer a dimmable alternative. what is the beam angle**
A: No, and 40 degrees.

**Q: Can these not be used in a outside fitting with a motion sensor on it? I bought them to replace my old halogen bulbs, but they stay on constantly?**
A: I initially answered I don't know, but had a think about it and it may be the motion sensor. If it uses an electronic relay (TRIAC or similar) the circuitry used to activate it and the sensor controls will leak a certain amount of current through the bulb, on a halogen this doesn't matter as the filament requires a high current to make it light up, the LED however does not and will be able the operate through the leakage. Solution, have the sensor operate an electro mechanical relay and all should be well.

**Q: Stated weight is 200g (>7oz!) A bulb can't be so heavy. I need an angle-poise bulb so weight is critical. The old bulb was 60g what's the real weight?**

**Q: Is the bravo par 38 led 18w cool white dimmable?**
A: I didn't purchase this one but I did buy the 13W version and that was definitely NON-dimmable so I guess this is the same.
