This is a great vest but not for fishing in an aluminum boat. It will have to do for now.

Works As It Should
This product is primarily used for kayaking, but I used this in Feb 2026 for snorkeling off the coast of Cuba. It kept me right on top of the waves and in the perfect position the entire time. It's not too bulky and fits in a standard 30"+ suitcase just fine.

Size range is not accurate
As others said order at least 1 size up. 47 1/2 to 48" chest here and the 2XL 48-52" is very snug. It would not work for a 49-52" chest size and it is tight on my 38 - 39" waist. Tighter there than the chest but both are too tight. Otherwise looks well constructed, looks good, and is comfortable other than being about 1" overly snug. 5 stars other than the fit.

High quality and comfortable
One of the most comfortable life jackets I have ever worn. One of my friends had one that I borrowed and I loved it so I bought one for myself and my wife. They are high quality, float well, dry faster than any other life jacket I own, and are very durable.

Bought this for our summer trip to the islands. Let's just say, years ago we did a water excursion in Dominican Republic and their life jackets did not hold us up in the very deep water. Lesson learned.We packed two life jackets into our suitcase and crossed our fingers. Ventured to the beautiful blue rivers and it held up so GREAT! We floated effortlessly as if we were tubing in a lazy river.
