I 3D printed some hangers and a clip-on shelf that expanded its functionality. I thought it was a little pricey, then I compared it to other units. I think it you are getting a bit more quality than you pay for with this one.

I’m extremely happy with this over-the-toilet shelf. The design is smart and space-saving, and it fits nicely without feeling bulky. Assembly was simple, all parts were included, and the instructions were clear. It’s sturdy, holds a lot, and really upgraded the look and organization of my bathroom. Definitely worth the purchase!

This solved a storage problem where there minimal floor space aroung the toilet. Room has delicate, old plaster walls so a wall hung unit was out. Getting the poles aligned and vertical was a two person job. Installation instructions were adequate even without using the video. Shelves were easy to install. Small items need to be in a basket to stay put and stand up. Overall very happy with purchase.

Using as a plant shelf in my kitchen. I don't trust the 30lb weight limit claim, but I think it'll do the trick for what I wanted it for. Easy assembly, good quality. The shelves are put together with rods that don't stay put very well until fully assemed.

I now own 3 of these. They are a great value and I love the way they're made. One is in the bathroom over the toilet. One is in the hallway as aa catch all. The third is in thhe living room as a plant shelf. So easy to assemble and I love the look. The shelves have great stability and can easily handle the weight.

quick 15 mins set up. Sturdy. Looks clean. Good practical product, does not require drilling or any tools. My house is sufficiently spaced, but not enough storage. It is compact, sturdy yet flexible. I have used it over the printer in my office and as well as in the bathroom beside the bath tub. I usually do not like to put thing above toilet just in case... but plenty of options you can this for - I can think of pantry as well.

I got this because my apartment has a very tight space around the toilet, with a rounded sink and a rounded toilet making it impossible to fit anything with a fixed frame. I'm convinced that this is the only over-the-toilet in the world that would fit my space, without resorting to mounted shelves. Every piece of this system is adjustable. Nothing is static. For a space like mine it's perfect, because you can make it fit. I think that anyone who does not have a lot of patience should not buy this product. Because its designed to be fully adjustable, that also means that everything needs methodical and careful adjustment. It would be very easy to assemble this with a pole tilting slightly in one direction (or both) or shelves that are not level. You need: a level, measuring tape, a rubber mallet. All of these are non-negotiable in my opinion. As you assemble, check to see how many B sections can be fitted and still allow for some extension. I added one more B section than the instructions suggested, because I had room for one more, and I ended up with a very stable system and more room to attach shelves. When placing the poles, I found it easier to put the toilet seat up and stand on the bowl, so I could manually move the pole around, measure the distance between it and the wall, and hand-tighten the top until it was impossible to move. I measured the distance between the poles and wall both at the top and the bottom, to make sure they were evenly placed. Then I used a level to make sure they were straight up and down. If micro adjustments were needed, I used the rubber mallet to tap the top or bottom of the pole to the desired location. I rechecked everything was tight after. I also measured the distance between the poles at several points, to make sure there wasn't a splay, and also used the mallet to adjust accordingly. When you are putting the shelves pieces together, the easiest way is to put the small ends in first, then the large ends. I also used the level while placing the shelves onto the support poles. Apparently the plastic caps for the shelves can easily be screwed on crooked, so you need to pay attention to that, and make sure that they are flush, if you want your shelves straight. You don't have to completely remove the cap for micro adjustments to one sides height, just loosen it. So as you can see, this system has a very specific use, and requires a lot of attention to detail during installation. I recommend something easier for most people, but for those that can't find anything else that would fit, this is the solution. I really love the way this looks too! The shelves have flat squared poles instead of round, so you can actually balance things on them flat without trays — though you will still need trays for small items. I love that they included the holder for the toilet paper roll and that it's fully adjustable as well! That's exactly what you need for a small irregularly-shaped bathroom! This is truly what it was designed for, and I love it.

Im not sure why this is a frequently returned item as it looks just like the pictures, is very sturdy and easy to build. It held all my towels, a hefty make up bag, my jewelry box, hair dryer and straightener... none of the shelves so much as tilted. I like that this one is more sturdy then those wire/metal behind the toilet shelves that sit on the floor. Plus, this one isn't difficult to get behind the toilet as there are no bars down there. It provided the extra storage space I needed very well, its worth the money.

This shelf works perfectly in our little camper to improve storage options without having to drill into any walls. It has even stood the test of a 5hour road trip to our campsite.
