I love this devotional by Paul David Tripp. I miss his daily teaching on the radio. What I love about these devotions is he writes them like he’s speaking to us. I love his sense of humor that comes out in his messages, he speaks from his heart and the messages start using scripture from the beginning of the Bible and he continues with selections of scripture throughout the entire Bible for the year. I would be happy to repeat this devotion for another year, since there’s so much he’s teaching us on a daily basis. So important to read the scripture associated with each message each day.

Practical devotional that not only helps you read through the Bible in a year, but gives a daily devotional. The devotional isn't fluff, but so helpful. It will give you daily hope, encouragement, confidence in God, help you to depend on God and love Jesus more. If you are going through any type of hardship or suffering, this devotional very much speaks towards that too. There aren't many daily devotionals that really speak into the lives of those undergoing daily trouble, but this is one of the few. Even if you are not experiencing any hardships, this is a very God focused devotional. Highly highly recommend.

Tripp has a way with words and teaching and sheds new light on the Bible with his insights. Whether you are new to your faith or a veteran believer, this is a great book that will connect new dots and help make the Bible relevant and real to you and your everyday life...thus the title! Enjoyable to read to the point we bought one for several people on our gift list to add to their gift.

Everyday Gospel has me looking forward to my daily Bible readings like never before, as Paul David Tripp brings out the depth, wisdom and treasures of each chapter of the Bible! And I love the verses at the end of each devotional to find corresponding truths.

Paul David Tripp’s writings are great. I love how he has helped me read through the Bible and understand it and how to apply it to every day life. New Morning Mercies is also an excellent daily devotional.
