TP-Link TL-SG105S-M2, 5 Port Multi-Gigabit 2.5G Unmanaged Ethernet Switch

This is about 10x10x2.x cm. Nice and small, made of metal so it feels solid. With the rubber feet on, its heavy enough not to slide about. The top of the switch is fractionally warmer than ambient temperature for me. The power supply is slightly warmer than ambient, but not hot. The unit feels solid and well made. The lights indicate the max speed between each device (ethernet cable) and the switch. Ethernet cables at the front, power supply plugs in the back. Good packaging with simple installation instructions, including a nice big diagram. Setup is simple, just plug your internet in one port, and devices in the other ports.

Great switch, plug and play! I used it to upgrade from a 10/100/1000 switch and immediately my throughput went from 910 mbps to 1105 mbps. Worth it!

No setup needed, fast speeds

I used 2 of these to upgrade my gigabit home network to 2.5 gig. It's been a few months and the speed upgrade is fantastic. Moving files to and from my servers is so much faster. Love it.

Works perfect, heavy duty case, plug and play..

This has been a solid little multi gigabit switch. It does what I needed it to do, stays out of the way, and feels like a good fit for a small network setup where you want faster wired connections without overcomplicating things. My main complaint is the spacing around the ports. Once the Ethernet cables are plugged in, I wish there were just a little more room to get them in and out cleanly. It is not a dealbreaker, but it is noticeable if you are using thicker cables or working in a tight spot. The instructions also are not great. They read like a rough translation and are not as clear as they should be, so first time setup may take a little more guessing than necessary. The switch itself is good, but the physical layout and documentation keep it from being perfect.

It’s purely a simple splitter for multi‑gig connections. For some users, that’s perfect; for others, it may feel limited. Overall, it’s a dependable, no‑frills 2.5G switch. Good performance, simple operation, but nothing extra.

Excelente producto, de alta calidad como siempre en esa marca, no es administrado asi que solo basta conectarlo y funciona perfectamente. No se calienta casi nada y en efecto el ancho de banda es de 2.5 Gbts. Tengo dos y mi red alambrica es perfecta

Just great. Plug and play, nothing to setup or manage, inexpensive, robust and provides the advertised performance. I just multiplied the transfer speed between my PCs by 2.5x, getting up to 280+ MB/S real net copy speed. Very happy with it.

Ordered from the UK, arrived with foreign plug and no adapter in the package. Absolutely useless.

My home has multi gig internet so being able to run my local network and download/upload to the internet at 2.5Gb is fantastic. Solid reliability thus far, truly plug and play.

Excellent company and accordingly this product works as promised. I am using it in an office environment and accordingly it gets used by many devices. Definitely to be recommended.
