These work as described. This will save me $$. I use my neti-pot rinse packets so I won’t need to purchase the saline pods. Not sure how long one of these will work, but in the long run, it’s cheaper than buying the pods.If your machine doesn’t work, you need to fiddle with the tab on the top to ensure it comes in contact with the lid. It essentially reads it like there is a pod in place.I recommend these!!

What this does is make the NAvage think a salt pod is in place so you can just use water and your own salt in the reservoir. No more having to rely on finding pods. Saves some cash as well

I dissolved SinuCleanse Pre-Mixed Saline Packets in water in a glass before adding to the tank, and it worked like a charm. It's essential to dissolve the salt all the way before adding it to the tank, but it's not at all inconvenient. I thought this extra step would make me go back to using the pods but it hasn't been bothersome at all.With these refillable pods, I don't see the need to ever buy replacement pods.
