Review: Worst-Smelling Product I Have Ever Used, but Ingredients are Nice - If you are going to use this product, you need to prepare yourself for the smell. I have never used a skincare product that smelled so bad - I am not sure why Dennis Gross Skincare didn’t add some fragrance to this product to cover up whatever this smell is, because it is bad. It has a sharp, acrid scent that I cannot place, but it may remind me of chemicals used in perming or hair coloring. Now scent aside, this is a nicely formulated serum. It includes a ton of beneficial ingredients that work alongside the main ingredient - salicylic acid. It is easy to apply with a built-in pump. I like the ingredients list & can get past the smell, simply because I chase this product with a better smelling one. However, if you are using this alone, you may not be able to tolerate it.
