We got the grop to try something different besides the old wraps, which dont last long. I was nervous about installing this grip with the hot water, but it was very easy. The grip has great tack to it. When it gets dirty, wipe it off and apply your tack spray. Really like the feel and look. Highly recommend.

Great concept. The grip is a little sticky after you put it on. You need a heat gun or you can take your chances with boiling hot water and a bottle cap. No thanks, that just sounded like an ER visit. I opted to try the blow dryer because I didn't have a heat gun, and it worked if you're patient. Be careful not to overheat the dryer, that's why they say use the heat gun... but who follows directions anyway. Good grip and fast way to replace a worn out one.

Wanted to love this concept. It was really easy to apply but the product once on and in use is not tight enough nor does it have any texture to grip. My son was disappointed after the second use, it became smooth & slick. He had me buy a texture grip. Waste of money. (14U)

Only 1 game in but loving it so far! Tacky grip with a little bit of grit makes messy sprays and tar irrelevant. Held up well in the rain as well. Application was easy

Ok so I was really on the fence about this product after reading the reviews but my son really wanted a mint chocolate wrap and I didn’t like the other options. For the installation, I used a heat gun because I felt like I would have more control than using water. I started off kind of heating all over and was really questioning my purchase. I ended up focusing on the bottom by the knob and moving the heat gun in a circular motion. I had my wife hold the bat horizontally and slowly spin it while I applied heat. Eventually we were able to slowly work out the bubbles and move up the bat. It took about 15 minutes (felt like longer) but I think it came out pretty good. I should also note that I didn’t remove the original wrap underneath. I saw some complain that they couldn’t get the wrap tight enough and figure leaving it would help. Ultimately I don’t think it was a must to keep it on, focusing more heat and I think it would have shrunk tight enough. • Becareful not to apply too much heat in one spot • If a spot is giving you trouble, work the area above it a little then come back down

17 year old loves the feel of the Sniper Skins on his bats. This was the second one purchased for a second bat. He says there hardly any sting or vibration and the grips give great no-slip control. Using them on a CatX and now Baum bat. I like the durability. We couldn't keep wraps on hardly a season, but these are lasting with little to no wear. I use a heat gun to apply the wrap and it works good.

Very easy to put on and use

The product installed easily and was a “cool” idea. Unfortunately less than a week later, there is no grip or tackiness and it is essentially a plastic wrap for a bat grip. It also twist a little during swing. Not worth the $ and going back to Lizard Skin Wrap.

Hard the get it to shrink down with just 1.5 L of water as it's stated. Ended up needing a heat gun after 5 or 6 attempts to use the boiling water method. Once got it to shrink down we got to swing the bat for the first time yesterday and the vibrating that comes out of the handle worse than any tape job I've had in my life. Literally only way I see this girp working well is on a stock bat wrap or brand new wrap and throw this over top. Which could equal out to 60 bucks for grips and that's just insane. Save or time and money and just buy bat tape. These look cool but that's where it ends

Kid loved it! Was easy to install. If I can do it anyone can! I would recommend having LOTS of boiling water... the recommended wasn't quite enough!

Had these on my softball bats for 2 season now. The tack will wear off after awhile of dirt and debris getting on it. There is a bit of grit on the grip, but it has a tendency to wear through batting gloves more quickly than an average grip tape. If your looking for a grip that will last this is it, but there are more comfortable options
