Very happy with this, it arrived the next day and took very little assembly. It's extremely simple with only a volume and tone control but I hooked it up to a pair of Tannoy speakers and was very pleased with the sound quality. Looking through the reviews there are a pair of matched valves that can be bought as an upgrade that are said to make performance even better, so that'll be my next purchase. Bang-for-bucks is brilliant, playback via bluetooth is rich and vibrant and it's a really small footprint too. All in all, very happy.

I am not one to leave reviews but this little amp is fantastic ad warm. It brings to life old Toshiba speakers that are now very spacious and a JOY to listen to.The power supply is the BIG issue it is not rated to 100W and you will notice this at higher volumes where the amp will cut out.I bought a DELL laptop power supply for £10 that outputs 19.5v @6.5A and this gives 130W so is more than ample enough to power the amp. I did need to cut the cables so I was able to use the original jack for the amp.With the new dell PSU, I can now push the speakers beyond their capabilities and the sound now is even more taught than before.I also have ordered 4x 6J2P-EV on ebay for £8.88 ridiculously cheap original Russian old/new stock which I am certain will bring new dynamics and clarity to the sound.I would highly recommend it but the PSU is a limitation and needs to be addressed.good luck.

I bought this principally for its Bluetooth abilities which turned out to be very good. I have hooked it up to my Tannoy autographs ( the big ones that look like commercial refrigerators) and the sound is very detailed and at 50 W per channel they drive these big speakers very well indeed the only limit on volume is your ears! The Bass is is very accurate and articulate and all together a very pleasing sound . This is of course a hybrid but it’s performance isn’t far short of an entirely tubed amp and great value for money . Comes with a spare tube which in the event was duff hence not 5 stars all round. It might be improved by another aux input although it’s physically very small making it difficult to see how that might be achieved. No reservations on recommending this

Great sound and output for some bookshelves, not sure what the valves actually do electrically/for the sound as they're more for looks. However unit lost one audio channel and then both outputs 18 months after daily use for music.Moved onto a wxa-50, which whilst much more expensive is superior in all regards.

A couple of small niggles but one is now fixed. One was the item which you push the speaker cable through and then tighten the clamp It didn’t have two holes through it so I had to drill through it to fix that problem and the other small problem is again related to the item (name unknown) which you attach the speaker cable to is that the inner retaining nut was loose and it twist around slightly but I managed to grip it with some small long nose pliers and managed to clamp the speaker cable. Sound 10/10 Quality control 4/10. The reviews recommend buying better valves which I attempted to do through Amazon but the seller said that they were held up in customs and never arrived and I was refunded and a seller on eBay ultimately said that they had a problem with the quality of the items they had and my order was cancelled and I was refunded. Sadly when I switched it on just over a week ago it went phut and that was the end of it and it was returned and I was refunded for it.

Bought this amp when a friend gave me a pair of vintage spendor speakers it was cheap and had resonable reviews. Source is a hi res music player. After 50 hours burn in I was impressed open, clear and engaging I then replaced the valves with GE JAN 5654W what a difference more musical more subtle. I thought if this is what I can get for <£70 what if I spend more? So I bought a Madison TA10 I upgraded the valves. I am back to listening to the Nobsound and have ordered some Russian 6J1P-EV valves. If you want a good cheap amp buy this and get some new valves. 26th May I have fitted a matched pair of Svetlana 6J1P-E manufactured 1966 after 50 hours burn in bass is open full and fast, midrange detailed and the treble is superb. Soundstage is wide spacious and very detailed. I am now using a pair of Voskhod 6J2P-EVs manufactured 1990 another improvement, I have ordered some 1970 Voskhod 6J2P-EV,Summary 1st Voskhod (1990) 9.5, 2nd Svetlana 8/10, 3rd Ge 7/10, 4th Original valves 5.5/10

I call it the little amp that can lol. OK, limited inputs make it not as user friendly as my old amp, but the warmth of audio is simply lovely. My mate came over and immediately purchased one having heard what it delivers. The valves that came with it are also excellent. I have better valves for it, but no need for them as of yet. I have this hooked up to KRK Rokit 1s, so a definite old school feel and this amp is a perfect compliment for them.I truly cannot fault this amp for the price, and if you are looking to expand into valve amps, this is a perfect starting place, maybe a perfect finishing place too.We drove this amp for 10hrs without any problem. 100w is only achieved when you daisy chain speakers or have 4ohm speakers already. Otherwise it is 60w. 30w per channel.There was no drop in the Bluetooth in my flat. I went at least 10m away from it with my phone and it held out without any issue.Suitable impressed.

Bought half price as a "used" - presumably returned - item as a "punt", so must be reviewed accordingly. Looked as new with apparent reason for return a blown valve - replacement 6J2P valve helpfully included, so all good. Swapped out broken valve, hooked up a pair of JBL Control 1s and switched on. Bluetooth paired with my Motorola phone as good as gold. With phone as source, briefly ran a radio programme file. All good but only on one channel, the offending channel valve only partially lighting up. I've sent off for a small batch of 6J2P-EV valves from eBay to replace and provide spares. At only around two quid each, and after over forty quid off, I'm not exactly chewing carpet. When the goods arrive I'll test further, but promising so far. It works, Bluetooth pairs easily, sounds quite good and the apparent fault seems an easy fix.

Avendo due vecchie casse passive di un buon impianto ho pensato che potesse essere la soluzione per "riportarle in vita". Effettivamente facile sia da montare che da utilizzare il suono, specialmente a volume sostenuto è caldo e pieno, sia con la connessione bluetooth che con la connessione tramite cavo. La possibilità di regolare gli alti e i bassi è la funzionalità che preferisco in quanto (per ogni genere) si riesce a trovare la perfetta equalizzazione.

Ciao a tutti,considerando il prezzo ottimo prodotto, l'ho provato con diffusori sia 4 che 8 ohm e riesce a pilotarle entrambe egregiamente, io ascolto esclusivamente in bluetooth, ero orientato all'acquisto di Marshall woburne ll, ma considerando il prezzo ho fatto una buona scelta, in questo modo qualsiasi diffusore diventa bluetooth. Soldi ben spesi buon divertimento..
