Wireworld Microphone cables utilize there patented DNA Helix conductor geometry and Composilex 2 insulation technology. Since their balanced impedance is 110 ohms, they are also ideal for AES/EBU and line-level applications. The internal structure of DNA Helix (US Patent #8,569,627) cables consists of unique flat conductors in layers that channel electromagnetic signal energy more efficiently than twisted pair cables. Composilex 2 is a second generation technology of custom-blended composite insulation materials, specifically designed to be quieter than any conventional material, including DuPont Teflon. Together, these advantages combine to provide the lowest EMI and triboelectric noise, along with the best waveform fidelity ever offered in microphone and line level cables.
