It's a bit involved, but WORTH the effort for an automatic espresso machine. Initial feedback: ================== Was a bit hesitant initially about getting a fully automatic espresso machine, but after a week of using it, multiple times a day, the machine has exceeded my expectation. Pros: - Makes a hot and good cup of coffee/espresso with the integrated grinder. Although the grinder can be a bit noisy, the grinding time is only few seconds. - Ease of use - Self rinse at start-up and prior to auto-shut-down. It does use about a cup of water per rinse, but I'd much rather the machine self-rinse than me doing it. Some review indicated the water needs refill often, not a big deal for me. Con: - No easy way to swap out coffee beans. I'd like to have coffee throughout the day, but not caffeine all the time, so I'd like to have decaf in the afternoon. But, to do so, I would need to take out regular coffee beans prior to put in decaf beans. So, I'm learning to just fill the bean container with enough beans for the morning so that I can easily swap out for decaf beans in the afternoon. Overall, a great machine. Will plan to provide updates after a month of usage.

First off, I have had this machine for 4 months. I wanted to give it a good test period, before reviewing. This machine is absolutely worth the price! It is an all-in-one machine, and takes up a relatively small footprint on the counter. There is a built in grinder, so the grounds are always fresh. They empty into an internal basket, so there are zero coffee grounds on the counter to deal with. The removable water tank has a water filter & is easy to fill. The entire operation of this machine is so easy, and the coffee is so perfect, you’d think you were at a coffee house. It also makes espresso drinks easy in the morning, because you can put your cup under it, go get ready, and come back to a freshly made, grab & go coffee, as you run out the door. No more waiting in long morning coffee drive thrus & spending $7 a cup. Everyone in my household uses it, and everyone in my extended family owns this machine. It is easy to use, makes wonderful coffee drinks, and is fast, & tidy. 1000% worth the price, for all of the time & money you will save making it at home. Plus, you will impress guests with your barista skills. (Just don’t let them see that all you did was push a button. lol.) ***There are some reviews stating it doesn’t get the milk hot enough. This depends on how much milk you put in the cup. For instance, if I am making a grande latte, I need to run it through the latte macchiato setting twice-because I have a lot more milk. You can also set the frothing time, utilizing the milk button. Don’t let that scare you off. Once you play with it, you will get the milk temp set perfect. Definitely recommend this machine. We love it and use it, probably 4 times a day.

Do not buy this! I ordered one for my husband for Valentine’s Day. We set it up and kept getting the error message “fill water tank” but the tank was filled. I called Bosch and it seems that this is a common issue where air gets into the water lines and there is nothing the customer can do to fix it. Not good quality for an $800 machine. Since Amazon doesn’t send replacements I have to return & wait for reimbursement. I’m going to try the Kitchenaid one next.

Ok makes great coffee, no pods. Less waste and less expensive over time as well as fresh coffee not ground months ago. The only issue I have is initial cost and the machine is not exactly quiet. Of course grinding beans is noisy, but it also cleans itself 1x before extraction and one time after. This causes water container to empty quickly. I do not remove container I just use a pitcher to refill. Great machine otherwise.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Terrific crema with this machine! Surpasses all my hopes and dreams! I was skeptical of the frother and truly thought I preferred a machine with a milk vessel - WRONG! The adjustable frother makes frothing any milk for cappuccino or latte so simple to use, connect & CLEAN! Also impressive- it attaches magnetically! Previous espresso machines I’ve owned do not even come close to the taste and performance of this machine. I. Am. Obsessed!!! And no, not part of a sponsored deal. This brews some delicious coffee varieties. From regular drip to macchiatos to frothed milk it's consistently good. This brews quickly and does a pre and post rinse of the machine. It saves a lot of money vs going to the coffee shop daily.

The machine i received was used and stuck in French. So i did not understand anything and was unable to read what the machine asked. I dont speak french! Nothing worked for me, so i returned it for a refund. Refund was smooth without any complications

This unit has turned out to be an excellent product. It performs exactly as advertised. I chose to write this review because a number of customer reviews complained about coffee not being warm enough, too noisy and so forth. We decided to take a chance. For our family it has worked perfectly. It is not advertised as a high-end coffee maker but at a quarter the price for those units it is simply not worth paying more. Incidentally, the unit is replacing a Jura which had given up the ghost after 14 years. The coffee seems just as good. We'll see how this one does over time.

Got machine deliverd but no matter how i tried it just would not work ,only light for cappucino and espresso came on . I send it back still waiting for my refund .

The previous reviews were accurate. This is a great machine, makes good coffee but the milk isn't very hot. I usually purchase De"longhi and still like them. They have more features, like iced coffee and hot water. However, this Bosch is much quieter with less parts to break or go missing. I would buy it again as well.
