Works Great
I’m very happy with this. I read some reviews saying it didn’t affect temps and some that said it did. I can confidently say I don’t know if it was a more even thermal paste distribution or something residual from the bracket but either way, it has lowered my temps by about 5 degrees Celsius under load.

Great fit.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Wanted something other than the OEM bracket to hold cpu down, works great, allows a better contact between my AIO and the cpu. Easy to install, and good peace of mind.

Great for looks, secure fit, and ease of use.
So far so good. I assume it works well with aiding the thermals as my temps are perfectly fine but i overall did not buy this for aid in cooling and specifically bought it to make thermal paste application and clean up and simple and painless as possible and so far i am pleased. It also just looks nicer and give me better piece of mind with how much more secure the cpu is in the socket. It's also in my opinion a critical component for those who happen use the graphite sheets instead of paste that are electrically conductive as this frame make it's far easier and less likely that for the pad to touch anything it shouldn't.

Must Get!!
I highly recommend getting one of you have a Ryzen 7 chip.

Worth it
Improves thermal contact by a huge amount. Metal case allows thermal transfer on the sides as well. 100% worth it. It improved the performance by a huge amount. Great quality.

Works flawlessly.
Does exactly what it says it will do and I had forgotten about it 6 months later. All the while it's just doing its job and never complaining. Must have for any Am5 build.

Really nice, but is it really necessary?
It is gorgeous little piece of machining! Solid, rigid. I've heard some people indicate compatibility issues with the X3D chips, but I don't have one, so I don't know. It fit my AM5 chip PERFECTLY. As others have said, it's a shame such a beautiful piece is hidden away. And given that it is pretty inexpensive, it seems worth getting, albeit not a must have either. Earlier AMD CPU chips, you could rip them out of their socket when removing the cooling fan. But the factory AM5 clip seems like it holds the CPU pretty well already. Not certain this really is a big improvement. It's super easy to install, it includes a tool for removing the factory clamp and installing this piece. To make sure you tighten it straight and clean. I suggest first putting in the screws loose, criss cross. 1, 3, 2, 4. Then slightly tighten criss cross. The final tighten criss cross. Don’t need excessive force, someone said they broke a screw. But getting all four screws pretty snug, and evenly tightened should hold the CPU well. Some people say it helps CPU temperatures. At first, I was dubious of the claim, wasn't sure what mechanism would be at work. But now I think it is probably true. This is a good-sized chunk of aluminum, and it comes into contact with the CPU around the clamping edges. That is only a small amount of contact area, so I doubt a whole lot of heat is transferred. But I did use a toothpick to put a tiny amount of heat sink paste around the clamping edges of the CPU to improve thermal conductivity from the CPU to this item. Again, I doubt it is a huge amount, some say 1 degree C. Given that this is inexpensive, it's probably worth it.
