This is my second time purchasing these: the first set I got worked so well! They are, of course, immensely cute. Who doesn’t get a chuckle out of these little smiley faces? They are also a good size: not too big but not tiny. Once you know how they perform in hot and cold water, you will be able to get a lot more use out of them. Hot water softens them up, while cold water keeps them firmer, for better scrubbing. They have never scratched any surfaces, even with cold water, even on my good nonstick pans. If you have seriously baked-on mess, you may need to pre-soak or use a harsher scrubber, but for any jobs but those, they work great. I also love the special holder. It fastens to the inside of the sink (or wherever you want it) with suction cups, and you just slide the posts into the ‘eyes’ of the sponge to hang it. Perfect for drip drying and keeping handy. I also prefer getting these mixed color packs, so I can keep my various sponges separate: one for dishes, one for nasty cleaning (like in the bathroom), and one I dedicate to scrubbing off vegetables. Pro Tip: a Scrub Daddy sponge and cold water will peel carrots faster than using a regular peeler with less mess and waste. These are pricey sponges, but they work. You can also run them through the dishwasher if needed, although that can reduce their lifespan a bit. Unlike most common sponges and scrubbers, I have never noticed a bad smell accumulation, and although that’s a not a guarantee that they are germ-free, it’s an indication that they don’t hold on to water and gunk as much as other sponges.

Sponge is the best. Last so long. It’s a cleaning staple.
