This extends very far and maintains it's strength well. It stays rigid and has good quality materials. It has nice connections with the clips and fits well with 3x5 flags. Its easy to extend and contract. The handle has a nice soft material that still feels like it will hold up well with use. It does bend a bit at full extension but with the amount of sections that it needs to contract it is pretty minimal. Cool that it comes with a wrist wrap and a whistle. The whistle works surprisingly well and is very loud.

Compact when closed, sturdy when extended. Flys a 3 x 5 flag without bending. The foam grip handle was comfortable. Light and fit in my backpack well.

Works well I suppose, I wish it was a little thicker because once it is opened all the way and you put something at the end like a flag or totem object. It starts to pull or bend with the wind. So I don’t extend it all the way but it never broke! So that’s cool. I use it for raves and just put a flag or small item on the top

Broke very easy but it’s long

Bought multiple ones of these. They broke the very first time we used them. Light weight flags. Just a normal motion of waving it back and forth and they all snapped in the same place on the poles. I loved the telescopic pole for easy transporting and storage, but these are simply not made to be used.

I was skeptical about the purchase as reviews didn't look good, but I thought it was great. I work as a tour manager and need to keep the group together- I did not use a full flag on it, just a bandana tied to the end and it worked great. I love the size and the variety of heights in the extension. The whistle to attached to the end is great too. While I don't know how it would hold up with a flag, it's a great value and I ended up buying another one.

The description stated this pole would support a 3.2 ft high flag. I bought a 3 foot high flag. When I was attaching it, the top triangular pin split apart, needle nose pliers fixed it. When extended to its full height the pole sagged/ bowed a bit. It was difficult to carry at different heights the way the design is, the clips didn’t fit properly over the larger gauged sections. None of this was a deal breaker until I went to a protest, and the clips, triangular clasp all came apart. It’s probably sturdy enough for a cheap nylon lightweight flag. The telescoping pole was able to be folded up nicely and tucked in my bag. I wore the flag like a shawl.
