It is designed for an active lifestyle and is functional for running or gym workouts. The shoe has been rethought with a soft mesh upper, a new heel shape and a more comfortable insole. In addition, these features are combined with a tongue construction that helps to ensure a supportive fit. LITETRUSS technology is positioned in the inner corner of the midsole, in order to reduce pronation. Helps ensure a more sustained stride, while keeping overpronation at bay. Review: Flashy ASICS - These shoes are very comfy and very flashy. I get so many compliments on them. I liked them so much I now have 2 pair. Review: So cushioned! - My husband and I have a tradition- when we go backpacking over the summer, we buy coordinating shoes. My shoes are pictured on the left. I replaced the laces with brighter neon yellow laces. I am no longer a runner, but these have a lot of cushion, even the cushion around the ankles and heels. Some runners like that, some don't. They're very well ventilated so nice for the summertime, maybe not so much in the winter. Like 90% of the Asics I get, they're perfect out of the box meaning no break in time. They look great on my big feet. I can't really comment on the durability, but looking at the treads right now, it doesn't look like they wear down very easily. However, I would say the toe box can get stained pretty easily. I've already popped 'em in the washer and not all of the marks on the tips of the toes came out. Still, I would order these again for sure. ## Features - Technical mesh upper - LITETRUSS technology - FLYTEFOAM cushioning ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0C68XVPZP | | Best Sellers Rank | #837,809 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ( See Top 100 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ) #1,057 in Women's Road Running Shoes | | Brand | ASICS | | Closure Type | Lace-Up | | Color | Cosmos Dusty Purple | | Cushioning Level | Maximum | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 935 Reviews | | Fabric type | Synthetic fibre | | Fit to Size Sentiment | positive | | Formality Level | Casual | | Heel Type | No Heel | | Insole Cushioning | Foam/Gel | | Item Type Name | Sneaker | | Lace Closure | Lace-Up | | Lace Ends | Aglet | | Manufacturer | ASICS | | Manufacturer Part Number | 1012B450 | | Material Fabric | Mesh | | Model Name | Gt-1000 12 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Occasion Lifestyle | Outdoor | | Occasion Type | Work | | Outer Material | Synthetic | | Outer material | Synthetic | | Pattern | Solid | | Pronation Correction | Overpronation | | Seasons | Spring/Summer | | Shaft height | Ankle Strap | | Shoe Height Map | Low Top | | Shoe Type | Athletic Shoe | | Sole Material | Rubber | | Sole material | Rubber | | Special Features | Cushioned | | Sport Type | Running | | Stitching Style | Bar tack | | Strap Type | Ankle Strap | | Style Name | Sneaker | | Style Number | 1012B450 | | Surface Recommendation | Road, Treadmill | | Theme | Sport | | Toe Style | Round Toe | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | | lining-description | mesh | ## Images ![ASICS Women's GT-1000 12 Running Shoe - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/617T-V0L19L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Flashy ASICS *by S***L on September 17, 2026* These shoes are very comfy and very flashy. I was recommended these shoes by my podiatrist and he was right. I bought an Amazon return and had no issue and saved a lot of money. The white color was very nice for the summer. My feet did not get overheated wearing them in the hot weather. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/626311076-asics-womens-gt-1000-12-running-shoe](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/626311076-asics-womens-gt-1000-12-running-shoe) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
