So much better than a traditional ladder
Love this. The pebbles to keep it from floating were a little difficult to put in but so worth it. The steps/ladder are sturdier than the ladder that came with the pool but take up less room than traditional stair steps in a pool.

Works great, is a touch steep
I was looking for this exact kind. I researched EVERYTHING and really was torn on all the different choices. My deck comes right to the top railing and the other ladders just wouldnt work without being a tripping hazard. This was perfect. Easy to build, heat gun pretty necessary as you need to bend the heavy duty plastic. We filled with pea size rocks, and will it was tedious, i havent had any floating problems. Love this ladder!

A lot better than the old ladder
Let's get right to it! The pros: - Was fairly easy to setup. (hair dryer recommended for the 'bending' parts.) - A lot easier to use getting out of the pool than the old ladder. - Looks decent and goes great with the pool. - Easy fit to a deck that is 4 or 5 inches lower than the lip of the pool. - Has a spot for a light (purchased separately) - Allows for a top step over the pool lip (purchased separately) The cons: - The railing that's out of the pool is a bit wobbly (It's blow-molded plastic after all) - You need to fill the sides with play sand or P-stone to keep it from floating... takes a while. - Vacuum gets hung up on it all the time (no fault of these particular stairs) - Did I mention the wobbly railing? All in all it's a decent set of stairs at a fairly reasonable price. I'd love to see arm on each side that would turn the rails into a sort of tripod for stability. I may MacGyver one myself. I did cut a coke bottle in half to use as a funnel to help putting in all the P-stone. Saved me about an hour there. I'd also love to see attachable, curved 'wings' that would direct the vacuum around the stairs but I've yet to see one that offers that feature. I may MacGyver something for that too.

So much better than the little 24 inch ones that originally came with our pool deck
We were replacing a 11 year old ladder that came with our pool deck. I read the descriptions carefully and chose this one. Wow, I was blown away by the size of these steps. So much better than the little 24 inch ones that came with the deck originally. Very sturdy and hubby says it was a little harder to put together because they are so much bigger than the original ones. We are redoing our pool deck and the steps are a taupe color so it will match our new color scheme. A great buy.....

Decent for the price
Looks great on the new deck. Perfect for the kids to get in and out. Nice angle on the steps, better than a ladder. Only complaint is sturdiness. I can on occasion feel a step start to buckle when using the steps. I am under the recommended weight limit, so this is disappointing. if you are near or over that number this may not be for you.

VERY BAD DESIGN - Don't buy unless you have $300 to waste. Instead, I'll give you my Go-Fund-Me link
Really don't want to give it 1 star but the shipping was quick 1. This is a 2 person job to put together. I'm the type of person who loves putting stuff together so I did this by myself (5'4" female 110lbs). I said a lot of very colorful words while putting it together. I let the steps sit in the 95* sunshine for 20 minutes before I even tried to bend them. I had to get my butane torch to heat the plastic for it to bend (while standing on it bent) then hurry up and try to get the bent plastic in the designated holes...that's not easy either. The hardest part is putting the other side on once you have all the steps in their holes. The holes and pegs on the steps don't line up so it takes time and muscle to line them up and get them secure. This took me about an hour and 1/2. 2. The instructions are not easy to follow or read (small writing), luckily I have enough common sense to reference the photos for clarifications...again, I love putting stuff together. 3. Hardware was included but not enough bolts (long bolts), nuts and washers were included so we had to go to Lowe's to get more hardware. 4. We washed pea gravel several times and put into the tiny holes at the top of the step sides. Both my husband and I were filling the sides with the gravel and it took forever because the holes were so small. 4. Installing the weighted steps into the pool was the easiest part. Once the steps were actually in the pool I decided to relax in the pool for a little bit to cool off from the heat and enjoy my new steps and all the very hard work I put into them. I had to get in and out a few times and noticed the top step is a little flimsy. My husband (who weighs 205 lbs) also got into the pool. As he exits the pool (standing on the bottom step) the pool stairs collapse. The handles are still intact but all of the stair pegs come loose from the holes. VERY BAD DESIGN! 5. Pulled the steps out of the pool and put them back together...had to bend the steps again to put it back together. UGH! Once I put it back together again and lifted the steps up to put them back into the pool, they came apart again. The holes and pegs are a joke and NOT secure enough to hold together. 6. We had some 2" taupe decking screws on hand and used the decking screws to screw into the plastic at an angle in order to secure the sides to the actual steps (we used 10 - 12 screws on each side). We tried 5 screws on each side and it still fell apart. - As of now, the pool steps are in the pool and secure. As long as the decking screws hold up I think the steps will stay together. I will update as soon as they fall apart again...which I think will happen because these steps are a bad design and complete waste of money. The struggle is real.

I love these stairs!
These stairs are not only extremely sturdy, easy to get use but also take up way less space than the traditional pool ladder we had. The stairs are wide but low profile and do not stick out very far at all from the pool wall. I highly recommend and will never use a traditional pool ladder every again. I do recommend 2 to 3 people when assembling the stairs. 2 people to pop the stairs in and 1 person to hold the ladder steady.

Nice ladder
Nice sturdy steps. Easy assembly. Only complaint is the Hadley are very flimsy. And did not realize I need to purchase stones to fill side rails. Would purchase again.
