400Pcs 1/8-40 to 5/16-18 Internal Hex Allen Head Socket Set Screw (Black),12 Size 12.9 Class Alloy Steel Grub Screw Assortment Kit with 5 Hex Wrenches for for Door Handles, Light Fixture

Every size I could ever need, it seems. I have several woodworking projects that need this type of screw both in metric and imperial sizes. They look to be of good quality and I have yet to strip the threads on a single one to date. Great source for small parts.

This is a nice kit, I've used the M6 and 1/4 x 20 set screws already and they work fine. Comes with applicable allen wrenches. All in a little clear plastic case. Only problem was the tiny latch on the plastic case comes off frequently. I'll slap a piece of tape on it...don't want to spill 550 set screws. Price and quality are very good for this set.

I bought these set screws because I needed one for a front door handle and did not know the correct size. It was an old door lock, and I knew it would be SAE and not metric. So, I was confident I would find the size I needed. The only negative is that the set screws are just a little soft, so be careful not to over tighten them or the tool will strip the head of the set screw. This is why I did not give it five stars. I did find the screw I needed, and it fit perfect.

This kit had sizes I did not even know existed! Worked great. The outside of each box has a label that lists the sizes of set screws contained within. However, to keep the lid from opening during shipping, the boxes are pretty well taped shut. I appreciate that, although, removing the tape removes the label! Maybe stick the label inside the box so that a person can install it after removing the tape. I am glad though, I did not have to put hundreds of set screws back in the case!

Arrived promptly, wrapped in cellophane. When you need screws, you need screws. I hate buying 400, because I really only needed one, but I'm not buying 20 or 50 for like 1 dollar less. Just get it. Great value. Screws appear to be formed decently well. First screw I grabbed threaded right into the tapped hole, so they appear to be good to go, at least from the one instance that I used one.

This is a great assortment of Hex screws. I have used several sizes and I have very satisfied with size and strength.

Buying this makes it so you don't have to keep running back and forth to the store
