You can choose whether to ferment 14% alcohol fast or 20% in 5 days, simply by changing the amount of sugar added. For 20% in 5 days just increase from 6 to 8 kgs of sugar in the recipe below. It also contains our new Pure-technology for extremely pure fermentations. How to make Moonshine - Instructions: 25 litres of 14% alcohol in 48 hours Pour 21 litres of 40 C (104 F) water into your fermenter. Add 6 kgs of sugar and mix well until completely dissolved. Then add 1 sachet of Alcotec 48 and stir for one minute. Leave to ferment in 20-30 C (68-86 F), optimum is 25 C (77 F). You may need to adapt this instruction depending on the legislation in your country and in some countries making wash / distilling can be completely illegal. Always check your legal position before using our products. For flavouring of your spirit we recommend using essences. Directions Pour 21 litres of water at 40°C into your fermenter. Add 6 kg of sugar and mix well until completely dissolved. Then add 1 sachet of Alcotec 48 and stir for a minute. Leave to ferment at 20-30 ° C, the optimum is 25 ° C. ## Features - Alcotec 48 Vodka Yeast is probably the best selling turbo in the world. It is based around a "pure" yeast strain which is a temperature tolerant, high alcohol distillers strain. With the unique precisely composed nutrition, containing the nitrogen source, pH regulator, trace minerals, vitamins and an antifoaming agent, it is the perfect yeast compound for creating a high alcohol wash. It has a "dual" use, you can either use it for 20% (21% in special circumstances) alcohol in 5-6 days, or 14% in 48 hours (hence the name). The alcohol level is simply determined by the amount of sugar you add at start. Alcotec 48 includes mineral absorbents for ultra purity. - Fermentation temperature: 18 - 24°C - Weight: 135g - Quantity: 5 packs ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B06XZNXZVK | | Age Range Description | 18+ | | Best Sellers Rank | 20,478 in Grocery ( See Top 100 in Grocery ) 27 in Plain Vodka | | Brand Name | Alcotec | | Container Type | Bag | | Cuisine | American | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 4.8 out of 5 stars (238) | | Item Form | Powder | | Item Package Quantity | 5 | | Item Package Weight | 0.68 Kilograms | | Item Weight | 135 Grams | | Leavening Agent Type | Active Dry Yeast | | Manufacturer | Hambleton Bard | | Number of Items | 5 | | Number of Pieces | 5 | | Package Size Name | Pack of 5 | | Part Number | 31048 x5 | | Set Name | Pack of 5 | | Size | 135 g (Pack of 5) | | UPC | 742128985240 | | Unit Count | 675.0 gram | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Alcotec - **Item form:** Powder - **Item package quantity:** 5 - **Item weight:** 135 Grams - **Leavening Agent Type:** Active Dry Yeast - **Manufacturer:** Hambleton Bard - **Number of items:** 5 - **Package Size Name:** Pack of 5 - **Package weight:** 0.68 Kilograms - **Unit count:** 675.0 gram ## Images ![5x Alcotec 48 Pure Turbo Super Yeast Packets High Alcohol 20% Homebrew Vodka - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71gjmn2JDRL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - 5x Alcotec 48 Pure Turbo Super Yeast Packets High Alcohol 20% Homebrew Vodka - Alcotec 3 Pack of 24 Hour Turbo Klar (Finings) - Lalvin EC-1118 Wine Yeast (10 Pack) - Champagne Yeast - Make Wine Cider Mead Kombucha At Home - 5 g Sachets - Saccharomyces cerevisiae - Sold by CAPYBARA Distributors Inc. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/62766524-5x-alcotec-48-pure-turbo-super-yeast-packets-high-alcohol](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/62766524-5x-alcotec-48-pure-turbo-super-yeast-packets-high-alcohol) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
