We got this as a present for a 7 year old and he found it really interesting, so did all the adults in the family!

Love this book! It's an easy way for children (and adults!) to get an idea of the size of some of our planet's amazing animals. Just wish there was more!

Fascinating pictures that really impress younger readers with the ‘actual size’, beautifully laid out with interesting facts alongside.

A clever book with facts and illustrations that make you say 'wow' and 'really'. Impossible to not compare your hand to the size of a gorilla, or wonder just what it would be like coming eye to eye with a giant squid!

Amazing idea and a great way to see how big animals really are.My class loved it and were entranced by it. We even got some maths out of it, drawing real size animals.

My classes have all loved this especially when they compare their hands to the the gorillas hand or their foot to the elephants foot. Much easier than bringing a gorilla or an elephant into class.

Fabulous book - the children in my class love it.
