Truly magical
I always know l won't be short changed in my expectations with Hannah Walker.l have just finished book 2 in the Elements of Dragonis series ,and there are too many emotions running through me ...Once again Hannah Walker has left me in awe of her imagination, this story continues from where the first book finished .Aldren , the second in command of the Riders , who is level headed , strong and compassionatemeets Prince Elijah , when he comes to spend time with the Dragons.Elijah , has spent his life in isolation , but is strong willed , kind and down to earth, but most importantly he can speak with the dragons. When Eli and Ren meet their mutual attraction is instant and constant.Just when you think you have a good understanding of the story line, something else happens, new characters, more awesome magic , more intrigue , new relationships , and your lost again. The biggest part in this story goes to Frode ,the cutest most loving Dragonling ever.Another favourite is the battle scenes , so descriptive, you think you are actually watching them. This book has so many layers , it's truly magical !!!

Loved it
This is the second book in the Elements of Dragonis Series. I would strongly urge readers to read the books in order; to give a clearer idea of the main plot. This series is captivating, addictive, emotional yet funny, sexy and sweet.Eli wasn’t a typical Prince and he didn’t behave like a royal should. He was caring, shy, dedicated and down to earth. Aldren and Eli had a beautiful connection and I liked the fact that they were so in-tune with each other. The plot is complex but things are starting to come together. Several surprises, twists and turns in this book - making everything much more exciting and gripping. There were a few parts that actually made me cry - they were emotionally moving and the author captured the intensity and severity of those moments perfectly.Loved all the dragons but the little dragonling stole my heart. Frode was an adorable dragonling - he made me laugh, smile and even cry.

Wonderful Beautiful Delicious
I adore this series so much. The gorgeous dragons and the lovely guys are fantastic. Little Frode is so adorable, I want him. I would love to be able to talk to all creatures, what a wonderful gift that would be. I am also a writer of fantasy books but have worried that nobody would read them. After reading these books, which have dragons so loving as mine in my novels, l have decided to get them published onto the kindle. I already have 8 books ready to go and another in progress. Can't wait to read the next book of this great series. Don't make me wait too long.Recommend reading highly 100%.

Magical Gay Romance
This is a good follow-up from Book 1 - romantic, amusing and with openly described gay sex scenes I.e. a cock rather than 'his lance'. I'm looking forward to Book 3. In the nicest way, this is a fun read , and Fronde is a poppet - as long as you have the patience to deal with a little devil!

I think the writer has some very good ideas but the style of the book is very confusing to me. It's part Disney, part gay romance part fantasy with a little too much sentimentality bordering. It feels like it needs a good editor to get hold of it and give a bit more input as to the composition and grammar.

Oh Aldren... If Only You And I...
I fell in love with Aldren in this book, definitely my kind of man! I gave it five stars even though I felt a lot of things in this book and the third book are suddenly so RUSHED. I mean, in book one, Rill and Con fell in love over the course of the book, in this book Aldren and Eli within two days, and the third book Kitt and Sasha almost immediately. Seems everything is happening QUICKLY as the series progresses, although I do believe the author implies that as Dragonis gets closer to returning, things are speeding up... but a bit TOO quickly IMO.What can I say... Aldren... and Dragons. I even fell in love with Eli, so sweet and adorable... I guess if Aldren is going to end up with someone other than me, I'm glad it's Eli. ;)The author does a great job of switching back and forth between characters, this series is the best example of how to use this style of writing properly. I know some people in reviews have complained about how the dragon's speak, especially Frode, but the author had to find a way to differentiate between them... I think she did a great job.I felt the ending of this book, however, could have used a bit more closure... instead it just ENDS... unlike the first and last books where they get an Epilogue... here it just ends far too abruptly IMO. Considering Aldren and Eli are my absolute favorite characters from the series, I wanted their ending to be perfect like Rill and Con's and even Kitt and Sasha's, but it wasn't. If the author reads this, I hope she continues the series, I heard she is considering another for Wilen... in that I hope she adds Aldren and Eli's bonding ceremony... I was hoping this is how the second book would end but it didn't. :(

Not quite professional grade
I enjoy the stories, ideas, and characters in these books more than I enjoy the execution, which is why I'm only giving three stars. This author has a lot of books out, but I think her writing is falls just short of what I would call "professional grade." She kind of falls into that category of e-book authors that seem to be trying to pump out books without honing their craft. I've read the first of her Avanti Chronicles and felt the same way, that the books weren't quite "there." I didn't think the Avanti books was all that interesting, so I wasn't interested in continuing the series. Even with the shortcomings of the writing, however, I probably will continue with what I expect will be the final book in a trilogy of the Elements of Draconis. The first book, Booker's Song, was similar to Seeker's Portrait in terms of the writing quality, but again, I liked the story and the characters. The dragon's speech patterns can get annoying, particularly in Seeker, where the baby dragon is less adorable to me than he is to the author. That happens, when an author is obviously more invested in a character than the reader is, and I find it pretty universally annoying. I like an author to take a more even-handed approach to his or her characters. Also, whereas Booker's Song stands up on its own as a self-contained story, Seeker really needs a sequel to lean on. I don't mind trilogies having an overarching storyline, but I prefer when they are a bit more self-sustaining.All in all, the series is a better effort by this author than her Avanti Chronicles, but this book is weaker than the preceding novel. Still, I'll almost certainly read the sequel when it comes out.

First was good, this was terrible!
I really enjoyed the first book, Rill and Con are great and like any good love story, there is a main plot and the love story weaves into it. This was not that and was such a huge disappointment! From the start, it reads like a bad porno- one of those ones where the pizza guy shows up and then suddenly there is a 3some. At one point (less then 1/3 the way through the book) i was yelling at the character to just stop talking, the dialogue was so bad. I gave up on reading any more, it was just too terrible. Please! Whoever wrote and edited the first book, come back!!

All the dragons!
So much to love about book 2 in this series, not least the adorable Frode the dragonling who is such a presence in this story and one you can't help fall a little for. And as for the MCs? I liked how there was no real denial of how they felt for each other, no coy does he like me's, and an understanding between them that was respectful, honest and from a place of trust. You really can't go wrong with Hannah Walker's worlds. 4/5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐

2nd book as fantastic as the first!
I absolutely loved the first one and when I saw that there was a 2nd book, I was thrilled! This book was great, and I fell in love with the dragons all over again. I enjoyed that it picked up after the first one and included the characters from the first book as well. I have re-read it and plan to start back with book 1 and immediately going into book 2 again over a cold afternoon. This book was a great addition to a fantastic story and I cannot wait to get the next!

I want a Frode of my own!
Love this book and series because they are so well written and edited. A huge plus for me is the sci-fi basis for this series, the Avanti series, and the Demon series. So many mm books use the same plots or just enough plot to present the sex. This book has a great story that draws you in, is enhanced by the sex, and keeps you entertained. Bring on the next one!

Excellent!
This is a great sequel. I love reading this series and am looking forward to finding out how it all ends. I love reading about magic, kids and dragons, especially talking dragons. This has all that (although the kid in question is a dragon). Ren and Eli are great together, as are Con & Rill. I'm looking forward to finding who Wilgen and Kit end up with. Highly recommended!!

Reminiscent of Anne McCaffrey.
Seeker's Portrait is one of those books you just can't put down till you read the last page. As an avid reader I enjoyed the world this wonderful lady has built and can't hardly wait till the next book in this series, or for that matter any of the other two series she is writing as well. She combines some of my favorite things, Sci-Fi, M/M, and Romance.

I really enjoyed this book
I really enjoyed this book. The author weaves great tales about the dragons while finding careful and complex stories around the dragon riders and the mages of the land. The sexual interactions are heartfelt and passionate without spilling over the edge into Pearl clutching. I look forward to the 3rd installment of this series.

Second Time around, And Love it Even More
This is THE second time I've read this book, and I love to discover new bits, remembering things I forgotten. It's like visiting with old friends. The entire series is amazing, I would expect nothing less from Hannah Walker and any of her books.

Dragons everywhere
This is a really nice read. It is great to see a book about two men that has substance and a great story. The physical activity is fun too but not what the book is all about.
