Rain or shine, this outdoor padlock has been extremely reliable. It gives me great peace of mind knowing I can see exactly when and who opened it through the eGeeTouch app. My son is able to use the NFC tag to unlock the shed easily, which has been very convenient. It continued working properly even during heavy rain, with no issues at all. Setup was straightforward and simple, even for someone who isn’t very tech-savvy. I highly recommend this lock for anyone looking for strong security with monitored access!

I have 6 porta potties that need access by 60 employees. I've had to replace them multiple times because they just die with no warning leaving employees unable to use the bathroom. We have had to drill and cut them off after only a couple months in service, replace fobs and the app doesn't work all of the time. I am looking for a different product, I'd love to go back to using the reliable combo style locks. Imagine if it was for a rental or something even more safety sensitive than a porta potty. THE WORST PRODUCT EVER. HATE.

Super convenient ,no more keys or combos. Setup was quick and unlock with phone works smoothly. Using it on my shed and it feels solid and weatherproof.

We purchased these for our community beach access, even purchased an annual contract with eGee company. We've had to replace the lock two to three times now, as they stopped functioning. We love the option for log auditing but unfortunately the records date/time were not accurate and did not record effectively. Great idea, not well designed/implemented. We've switched to the eLinkSmart Heavy Duty Smart Padlock.

Worked somewhat well for about 8 months. Interface with app was clunky/buggy but usually functional. Some features simply never worked, like usage logs. Despite being rated for all weather and bot seeing any extreme conditions like freezing or major rain, the lock mechanism started to bind after a couple of months and continues to bind intermittently despite lubrication. Unfortunately, after 8 months, the battery suddenly died (no low battery indication when using up to that point- not sure that function actually worked). Battery will not charge. Continues to work normally when plugged in to power via charging cord, and shows appropriate lights for charging and full charge while connected, but immediately dead again when unplugged. Overall, seems pretty half-baked despite this being the 5th generation of this product. Advertised with one year warranty. Contacted company but have not received a response.

Back in the olden days, dungeon masters had to fumble with cast-iron skeleton keys to open Byzantine steel locks. In high school, we had to spin a dial and commit a sequence of three numbers to memory. Now, we tote around a multitude of identical keys to open a padlock. Welcome to the future, dungeon master. As a big supporter of replacing proven mechanical technology with unreliable, electronic gadgetry, I jumped on this like a chicken on a June bug. It has substantial heft and certainly looks like a padlock. So if you are a fan of over complicating everyday tasks, this is for you. The lock has a discreet charging port for juicing up, and when you require the opening of the lock, it is simple: first, push the small, weatherproof power switch on the underside. Wait for the beep of life. Then either place the one included NFC tag on the lock and wait for the click. OR open the free app on your mobile, select the lock, and click ‘open.’ Either way, you must physically pull the lock open in a few seconds or it defaults back to lock. I’m not filled with warm-and-fuzzies about this things mechanical bona fides, however. The steel feels like recycled Chinese engine blocks. There is no notch or detent on the shackle that makes me think it would resist much tampering. But it looks cool and works. For now. But I suggest keeping that ol’ skeleton key lock on standby.

Durable and works as intended. Been using it to lock my shed and so far no issues. No need to use a key to lock/unlock everytime!

The item arrived well-packaged. After using it for a few days, the lock works as described and lets me track access easily.

この南京錠の造りは重厚で堅牢 存在感抜群のスマートパドロックです。eGeeTouch製の錠は、スマート トラベルロックの粗悪で雑いイメージが有り、半信半疑で購入。少々お高いですが満足のいく物でした。簡易日本語説明書と直感的にも分かり易い日本語スマホアプリ「eGeeTouchManager」を使い登録や操作、NFCスマートキーでの解錠ができます。ちなみに安価市販品NTAG215等のNFCカードやタグでも登録できます。(コイン型の方が高認識率でした)合鍵も作れてセキュリティは万全です。肝心の充電池の持ちは、まだ不明です。 ※改良希望な点は、下部の電源ボタンが押し難くかなり力がいる。そのうちゴムがへたるのではと懸念・・5th GENなのに、もう少し使いやすく願います。!!

I like the products. The lock allow me to share lock access and unlock via my phone. No worry missing key anymore. The Key Fob alternative open method convenient for my mom to use it. Love this product and recommend for everyone.

This is a great product. The EGeeTouch app allow me to grant access easily from far away. I can track all the access history with just a click from the app remotely. The accompany NFC fob give my mum so convenience to access the lock as she don’t know how to use smart phone.
