Works well and just the right brightness for the bedroom.

This claims it's an E12, but when measured with calipers the diameter is 10 mm, not installing or fitting in the E12 slot. This made it incompatible with my refrigerator. Edit: Well by the magic of buying a different E12, I learned I measured the wrong part of the lightbulb. My apologies.

Ok but not the right light for my Himalayan salt lamp … I expected lite warm amber-ish bulb color but this one is more white .. the lamp then lost its warmth …

This was exactly what I was looking for. I have salt lamps that the bulb stopped working. These fit perfectly and help provide the proper ambiance again. Just to note, these dont really get HOT, which is what I wanted. I don't care about heating up the salt- I just wanted the color ambiance for the "feel". The only thing to note is that if your salt lamp has a dimmer on it, there may be a slight "buzzing/flickering" appearance to the light.

Using this to replace the incandescent bulb in a Himalayan salt lamp and this bulb is only 50%-60% as bright as the original. Probably somewhat my fault for not verifying the bulb light output before ordering, but I figured an advertised 15w equivalent bulb would have the equivalent output as a 15w incandescent bulb. I am using the bulb in something else, so it's not a waste. I do like the color, and it draws very little power judging by how hot the bulb gets vs the output.

These are ok but they're NOT as bright as an incandescent 15watt bulb which is what I wanted. I use one on my Himalayan salt lamp. I like to leave my salt lamp on all day but don't do it for the "health" benefits, just for the ambiance of the light itself so I didn't want to use an incandescent bulb. These bulbs are ok. They're just not as bright as I hoped.

Match 2024 Update: We've gone through both bulbs in 14 months. Average 7 months per bulb of nightly use. It was driving me nuts that my salt lamp had a 15w nightlight incandescent bulb in it which used more power all night long than my overhead light. And about every year it would burn out after using it as a night light every night. I tried buying a 7 watt incandescent bulb but it burned out in a month. This bulb works perfectly. Just screw it into the socket and turn on. It's a little less yellow and more white on the Calvin scale. But my salt lamp still has a pleasant glow and now I'm only using 2w not 15w. My camera on my phone apparently syncs with the refresh rate on the bulb, there are no black lines in person like you see shown on the photo.
