Great holster and it is as close to a perfect fit as you can get for the Springfield XDS 3.3" 9MM. I was a little skeptical at first about this holster as it doesn't use a clip and relies on compression from a belt or the surrounding of your pocket to stay in place when drawing your weapon. Now I do feel confident in its holstering ability IWB (it is also comfortable too), but I must say that its ability to draw out of a pocket effectively depends greatly on several factors: the material of your clothing, compression of the pocket, etc. Pocket holstering is going to be a variable experience depending on your particular application. I don't think this should take away from the rating of the holster because ideally, you should be wearing what is appropriate around the gun and not fitting the gun and a particular holster to what you normally wear. With that being said, the materials are of very high quality. The holster of course has a rubbery feel to it and there is no doubt that it is more prone to getting caught and staying in place instead of sliding out of place. The inside looks to be the same material as the lining of the holster which is fine by me; I have no worries that my gun is going to be scratched up or anything. The stitching is on point. I see nothing that could even consider coming apart or loose. My only gripe about the holster really is after I've pocket holstered my SA XDS for about a couple weeks, I've noticed that the edge of the holster (where the end of the barrel/slide/sight is) is scrunched in somewhat. More than likely i'm just being a little nitpicky and this has no impact on function, but it does bother me somewhat. Also, during the first days of me using it as a pocket holster for my XDS, I did notice a very small portion of the trigger guard was exposed. To me even a little bit is a no-no, but after a couple days, the holster did "break in" and conform to the gun extremely well. Now my XDS sits perfectly fine inside the holster and the fitment could not be any better. Overall, I do recommend this holster for this gun, IWB, and some pocket carry depending on your particular application. EDIT: I now use this for my S&W Shield 9mm and it is also a great fit!!

I have one of every size to fit every defensive tool in my collection. I have many holsters of many styles, but these are my favorite. They are a soft material that protects the finish on your tool. They are very comfortable for inside the waistband carry. Whatever the outside material is, it is remarkable how well it stays in place. You would think it would want to ride up or slip down, but it does very well staying in place. They are well made and have proven to be durable in real world use. I have had some of mine for a couple of years and they have held up very well. I keep my EDC in one all the time. When I go out, I just grab it from my lock box, slip it in the waist band, and away I go. I have many makes and types to choose from (Kydex, Shoulder, IWB, OWB, Hybrid) depending on the schedule for the day, but, this is my go-to most times. You can successfully wear these with shorts, sweats, etc., where you don't have a belt available to support some other type. These are much more versatile than rigid holsters which are molded to a specific make and model. Many makes and models of similar frame size and length will fit.

Purchased this holster for my S&W Shield .40. I was a bit skeptical when reading about this clipless concealed holster, but am pleasantly surprised by the results after using it. First, the holster fits the gun perfectly. Second, because it doesn't have a belt clip, you can carry the holster in any position you want. I've used this holster walking, sitting, driving, jumping, running, etc and have had zero problems with it moving. It's very comfortable covers the gun enough that it's not exposed all that much to my body. I wear it between my waistband and an undershirt, so that prevents the need for a sweatguard like some other holsters have. Now for some real talk: The only time that I do have an issue with not having a belt clip is when I'm relieving myself. Because this holster relies on being held up by your waistband, when you loosen the waistband, there's nothing to hold it. This isn't that big of a deal, but when you're out in public you have to use a closed stall if you require unbuttoning your drawers. That's certainly not a deal breaker for me.

Stays in pocket on the draw. I’ve not cleaned it once, it’s several months old, and concealed carry daily and it still sticks in pocket when unholstering. I really appreciate how lightweight it is, it isn’t bulky. I purchased several, 1 type fits several makes and models, but not doesn’t accommodate for accessories (-1 star)

This by far is the best IWB holster I have ever worn and I have had many and tried many others. I wear my G43 in an appendix carry position. Because of the outer material, this holster stays in place between the waist line of the pants and bare skin of my stomach. I have worn it between a tucked in T-shirt and pants while wearing a button down shirt with no problems. I have no printing of the handgun or holster at all, of course I do take care to wear the right type of shirts and patterns to help on the concealment (I don't go out of my way to wear the next size up shirts either.) There is no movement at all when walking around. Depending upon your body type (I'm 5'6' 157lb slim build), it may pinch into your stomach when sitting or bending over (I do notice it when bending over but it is not uncomfortable). I don't notice it while sitting at all. What's really nice is that you can move it into the cross draw position when driving without having to take off your belt or make any other adjustments. I have never run with it because of my knees, but my son says he has worn it with a good pair of sweat pants and had no problems with it. I have no problems drawing from the appendix carry. The holster stays in place when presenting the handgun. I have tried carrying it in my back pocket of my jeans and have had no problems, though you have to wear a longer shirt or jacket, but i bought this mainly to wear it as an IWB appendix carry only. I would recommend this holster to anyone. I first came across this holster through one of my former LE partners.
