I have been cooking eggs and bacon on this thing and then just wiping it down. The non stick is a great asset and cast iron is always a joy to use. The quality of this griddle is unmatched, for years I used Griswold cast iron pans that had been passed down and were thick with seasoning, but this griddle is just as heavy duty and the non stick pre seasoning works better than my 50 year old Griswolds. I look forward to getting the skillet and using it also.
