I've tried a lot of beef jerky over the years, but Yay's is truly in a category of its own. it's incredibly thin, light, and crispy, almost like a chip. It's very addictive!! The flavor is also incredible. I'm a stickler for snacks that are high-quality. The fact that it is high-protein made me immediately reach for it especially as I'm preparing for my wedding celebrations. I can't wait to try all of the other flavors. Would definitely recommend!

dont write reviews often and as much as i would like to support a small business, these beef "crisps" are not as advertised. i purchased their original flavor which claims to be sweet and spicy but it is not sweet at all. it also wasn't crispy- it was hard and the flavor was very gamey. all in all unenjoyable especially considering the price.

I chose to get this because it was rated highest on an online video, composed of three Facebook celebrities. Normally I would never spend $10 an ounce on beef jerky. So maybe I’m cheap, but take that for what you will, but what I say is it’s not worth spending $18 on such a small bag. The taste reminded me of a dried out prosciutto with sugar, which is not a bad thing. But for $18 you can get close to a pound decent prosciutto. It’s different because it is flaky crisp like a potato chip. So if you wanna try something different, go for it. But, I feel it’s doubtful that you’re going to be blown away by the best taste ever.

Good flavor but the bag is so small for the price. Would only purchase as a special treat versus a usual snack. I really liked the crunch of it, very different than jerky.

Delicious! Yes it is very pricey, but you are getting quality with this product. I have been following Marlin on YouTube for many years and I have heard him talk about how heavenly this snack is. I am pleased to say that yes it is delightful being paper thin and crispy like a potato chip. Worth every penny in my opinion.

I've never had beef like this. Even reading the description, I still expected this to be like jerky. I actually love how crisp, breakable and different in texture it is. The flavor is what trips me up. I don't think the seasoning is evenly distributed. Some bites are nice and sweet from the brown sugar. Bites with visible chili flakes and seeds are understandably spicy. Then there are the weird umami bits with too much soy, oyster or mushroom sauce that just feels odd with the sweet and spicy. Surprisingly, my mom loved it, except for the spicy bits. For me, I honestly get stuck on weird. All of the flavors just don't come together for me. These also aren't a cheap snack to try more than once unless you love it. If you're curious and looking for something different, like I was, give this a try, but I'm good after one bag.

I was so excited to try these, they looked AMAZING online, and made me drool thinking about them, after receiving my bag of the sweet and spicy, not only did I feel stupid for thinking they would be delicious , but I feel really dumb for spending $20 on a bag of Jerky that barely gives you any Jerky, which would have been forgiven if they actually tasted good, I'm not sponsored or paid anything to say this but I legit am telling you that these tastes just like dog/cat food, that like chalky, rancid stale meat taste, that's exactly what these taste like, it's TERRIBLE, seriously avoid this, I kid you not, any store brand Jerky is taste better and is way cheaper than this dog food.
