Yes,but get some help as they will be heavy. Use a bar through the handle so two can lift together.

Will this lift the big thick heavy duty slabs.  so e people call them council slabs.

Hello,
it depends on the dimension and weight.
The lifter "MS-PH2050L" is designed for plates up to 50 cm and a weight of 60Kg.
As long as the plates have straight edges and do not exceed the weight of 60Kg, they can be laid with the lifter.

If the plates are larger, the lifter must also be selected larger.
If the weight is higher than 60Kg, our jacks are not suitable.
It would come to a high wear, the plates would no longer be properly gripped and could slip off.

Please check if these values fit before buying.

Have a patio and need to lift slabs up some are cemented as have sunken would this be suitable to use this?

This is great for lifting slabs but you will have to loosen them. If you can wedge something (a spade) between them on all 4 sides to loosen the slab from the cement you would the be able to lift them.

Hi. This model will lift flags up to 50cm. I believe. Any wider and I don't think it would engage enough to grip. I am using mine for 45 cm. flags and finding it extremely good, as I do suffer with my back and it makes lifting flags much easier. There is a wider model, but more expensive and not necessary for me. The short handled version would be less helpful,I think. One of it's biggest advantages is that if the flag needs to be lifted to adjust the sand/cement level I can do a straight lift thus not disturbing the whole bed. Not cheap, but I intend putting it on ebay when I have finished with it to recoup some of the cost as I am not likely to need it again. 77 flags placed and another 83 to go!
