I bought this antenna and SMA lead to convert my WIO Tracker E-Paper from the evil RP-SMA to SMA, and to shake the terrible folding antenna it comes with.Immediately the range from my repeater in town over doubled. Not even kidding, and that repeater is a Heltec V3 with the stock little piddly shrink wrapped coil antenna.So even with that tiny thing over there, the range went from 1.5miles to over 4 miles through woods!Can't wait to get another one to see how much better it will be with one of these amazing antennas on both sides.This whip seems to be dead on for SWR and gives you maximum connectivity with Meshcore or Meshtastic. The size is the same as the other highly rated antenna that look like it, featuring the thin aluminum base that fits nicely down into cases that the thick antennas cannot screw into. I love the little friend shape logo on the front with the frequency label lasered on too.This antenna and lead set is amazing for the price. I will certainly be getting more of them.

Probably one of the best quality antennas I have ever purchased. Performance over stock is nuts. Picking up RF from nodes super far away. SWR was flat around 910mhz but 1.3 at 905. So worth the 12$

I bought this Gizont 915MHz soft whip antenna to pull real-time utility meter data directly into my Home Assistant setup, and it has worked flawlessly with incredible reception. The long range performance is fantastic, easily picking up the 915MHz broadcast signals I need with great hardware compatibility for my SDR. The size of the 17cm whip is perfect, and it maintains a great swr reading for clean signal efficiency on custom radio frequency projects. It is flexible, durable, and provides excellent connectivity for my smart home dashboard. Overall, it's a brilliant upgrade and an amazing value for money.

I have never had good performance from the stubby antennas on Meshtastic nodes and wanted a better option. This rubber duck style antenna has been a great upgrade. I ordered one to test on one of my nodes and after swapping out the stubby antenna for this one I could immediately see improved range performance with with more direct connections with other nodes in my area versus the hops that were previously required. For the price it was a worthy upgrade, I ended up ordering a second one for my other node.

I tested the antenna just by itself (using the venerable NanoVNA), without any metal groundplane and it was very well matched to US915 LoRa, ISM band! Maybe a little on the high side (too short), but the SWR was less than 1.3 across the band. At the best it practically 1.0 SWR just outside the band. I then added a small metal ground plane about 2.5" square and the SWR was still under 1.3 or 1.4 in the band. I then deployed a RAK4631 with an 850mAh Lipo cell and a little 5.5V, 250mA solar panel and on a nearby hilltop near Taos, NM and was blown away to receive pings from nodes in Albuquerque!?! Truly amazing antenna! I had the same rig up there but using the flat PC board antenna that RAK sells with the Meshtastic starter kit and it has a good SWR but it just was not pulling them in like this sucker does!Def be buying more of these!

I tested this antenna using a nano antenna analyzer that shows an SWR 1.20 for 915MHz this is a great antenna for Meshtastic Lora radios.

I own a Seeed Studio Wio Tracker L1 Pro, and the stubby antenna that came with it couldn’t pick up a MeshCore repeater that was a mile away from my house, regardless of where I placed the receiver.The tracker’s antenna connection had a male SMA connector, which made it challenging to find a replacement antenna. This kit includes both the 17 cm antenna and the connector that was easily connected to the tracker’s board.Now, I can easily pick up the repeater from anywhere on the second floor of my house, and I’m thrilled to be able to connect with my friends and others on MeshCore! If you're using a stubby antenna that came with your tracker, I highly recommend this kit.

Tuned right around 930 MHz. Good performance for Meshtastic frequencies too
