The fish love it

The food is ok but the package is really hard to get the zipper to work and stay closed. I have only exclusively fed my koi since there were 2 inches long. They are now over a foot long. This food works well and holds it's shape while they top feed.

High quality and great price. I've been using Spring & Fall for about 10 years. My 5 koi started around 4 inches are now a healthy16 inches with great color.

Nice to be able to give them food even in the cool

I usually buy a round pelleted food, but this is such a great value and was available, so I bought this. My fish absolutely love Tetra Pond Sticks of all varieties. They're super lightweight - so I have to use care when tossing handfuls into the pond from the deck 6' above on a windy day. They also tend to clump, so if you have big koi with giant mouths, they will eat this like a vacuum on high. The little guys have to hustle. I fix this problem by throwing them in/around the lilies and floating plants. They soften quickly, so even the really little guys can eat them - though I still worry about the little guys getting enough. If you have 4"+ fish, there is no worry to these. Anything smaller, and you need to buy a smaller pellet so they can snatch a run. I love the value of this food, and it's paramount to have spring/fall food on hand for those cooler months in Michigan. You simply can't feed the rich summer food when the water is getting cooler and causing their systems to slow. Great to have on hand - seal up in the start of summer if you have any left so it stays fresh for fall.

Best recommendations for opening the pond. My koi and goldfish feast away on this fine product after a long winter's nap.
