poorly made battery pack
When I received my Polchik sits bath the battery pack was already broken. The dark gray piece onto which the usb plug connects was out of line and loose so that the charger could not be inserted. This will only work with the usb connected to a wall outlet

Warning! This device vs bathtub, choose wisely and consult a doctor!
WARNING!!! Unless this is your absolute only option or your proctologist specifically recommends it, avoid this—or any—toilet sitz bath. I rarely get flare-ups, but I had one recently due to cold and stress. I got lazy and didn't want to use the full bathtub, so I bought this. Boy, was I wrong. This made my condition the worst it has ever been. Usually, when I have a flare-up, I take an Epsom salt bath in the tub; after a few sessions, everything relaxes and goes back to normal. But with this thing, the sitting position on the toilet must have put so much pressure on the area that it created a really bad situation—to the point where I almost had to visit a proctologist for the first time in 11 years. As soon as I stopped using this device and went back to just relaxing in the bathtub, I started seeing improvements immediately! So again: unless you have no other choice and a doctor tells you otherwise, do not use it.
