Why to choose AVKANS NDI PTZ Camera? 1. Lower in cost. One of the biggest advantages of NDI is it uses everyday computer network architecture (LAN or WAN), cable and switches instead of legacy SDI cables and expensive broadcast equipment.NDI uses standard IP networks, no SDI cables or connectors are required just standard network cables and connectors and ethernet switches. NDI turns a standard Ethernet-based LAN into a video network. Because NDI uses standard IT infrastructure, typically, the reduction in costs over more traditional SDI based solutions is dramatic. Also, using and managing NDI based systems tends to be much easier that the legacy SDI systems they replace. 2. Low Latency. NDI is ideal for transporting high-resolution video with low latency, which means you don’t drop any frames or lose any quality in the transmission between devices. The image of the NDI PTZ camera is much smoother than that of the camera without NDI function. 3. As Easy As Plug and Play. Using NDI, you can Power, Control, Set up and preview video over one singel ethernet cable. NDI is Compatiable with vMix, OBS, Zoom, Skype and other video conference software and video production software which supports NDI HX. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: I only have mac computers. how can i use the tracking software? is there alternative software?**
A: As we mentioned in the listing, CMS software works on windows only. You can't use the tracking software in Mac. You can try to run windows system under your MAC system, no idea if it works. But you can try.
Or you can set up by IR remote controller. Set preset 0, and preset 1, pls play preset 0 and preset 1 after setting, make sure you seting is done.
After that, press F1 to start tracking, F2 to stop tracking.

**Q: will this work with ip protocol joysticks?**
A: Yes, this auto tracking camera is working with IP protocol joystick.
We suggest AVKANS Joystick controller, or PTZoptics Joystick controller.

**Q: Does this work with the ptzoptics superjoy-g1 joystick?**
A: It should be ok since this camera also have standard VISCA and Pelco-D/P protocol.

**Q: What companion external microphone is suggested for use with this camera?**
A: Rode wiressl go 2. This camera support 3.5mm audio input, output from IP streaming only. Audio is Not ok from HDMI/SDI/USB output, becuause tracking "take too much space".
Hope you understand what I say.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ AVKANS 20X NDI PTZ camera at a reasonable price
*by T***0 on 26 March 2024*

After watching reviews on YouTube of this AVKANS NDI PTZ Camera I decided to give it a try. I used it for about 6 months and really like how easy it was to setup. After 6 months I ordered my second camera and now I ordered a 3rd camera. The AVKANS 20X NDI PTZ Camera with HDMI, SDI, USB camera is very impressive! It performs well in low-light conditions. The Pan-Tilt-Zoom feature is buttery smooth, giving you total control. Plus, the 1080p resolution is just right for high-quality videos. Setting it up straight forward and the AVKANS training video walks you through the steps with ease. The camera is built well and packed with features. This AVKANS PTZ camera is great for the price. I use these cameras for mostly with a TriCaster video switcher for Conference Presentations. OBS detected this NDI camera which offers very low latency with 1060P at 60 frames. I had a couple questions about updating the Firmware and NDI configuration and ANKANS replied quickly with a firmware link and instructions. AVKANS support was very responsive for me by email. I'm very pleased with my purchase and customer support should you need it. I would definitely purchase this PTZ Camera again knowing that they have great customer service. Very pleased with my purchases.
