Update (June 2025) It has been eight months, and the water flow has decreased considerably from 100% to 25%, despite its advertised two-year filtration capacity. Water flow is a significant factor. While it may be affected by Oklahoma City's water quality, I still find it worthwhile because it provides fresh water for drinking, cooking, washing dishes, and hands. Therefore, paying $5–$10 per month, depending on the filter's lifespan, remains a reasonable cost. Old review (Feb 2025) First of all I want to share that I live in Oklahoma city urban area to give a more specific views on the quality of water here. It has been 4 months since I installed the Waterdrop under sink water filter to improve the taste and quality of my tap water. Here's my experience with the installation, performance, and overall value of this system. Water Taste and Clarity: The filtered water tastes significantly better than my tap water, no smells. It's clear and the chlorine taste/odor/sediment has been greatly eliminated. Flow Rate: The water flow rate is good (reasonably slower than before installation) Filter Lifespan: I've been using the filter for 4 months and it's still performing well with no reduced flow rate compared to 4 months ago.

This filter was easy to hook up and great tasting water. I like water drop. It’s easy and good filter.

Our city changed from watershed to well, bringing hard minerals and strong taste to our home. Rather than put in an expensive home-wide water treatment, we wanted to address our drinking water and live with our otherwise fine city water supply for our other uses. An under-sink filter in our kitchen was all we wanted. I spent weeks looking at all the ways and wiles of water purification, products, prices, specifications, life. This filter handles cleaning away bad tastes and substances, including microplastics, offers up to 40X the filter life (comes with a 2 year timer), costs about 1/3 its nearest competitor, and took me about 20 minutes to install. I was concerned its flow rate would be a problem, but we felt we could live with it, as we use that sink for cooking and drinking only. We did not notice even the slightest loss of flow from our faucet! So, thumb’s up for flow rate, price, performance, cartridge life, and ease of installation. I shoulda been a plumber!

This is the second Waterdrop under sink filter I have installed in the last week. I picked one up on Amazon to replace a leaking under sink filter for my in-laws last week and I liked it so much I bought one for my own house. We already have a basic whole house filter but I wanted the .01 micron ultrafiltration on the kitchen sink that we use for cooking and drinking. Super easy install. The product comes with an installation kit which includes supply lines with quick connects to the filter and 3/8 male and female compression fittings for the supply valve and faucet. The kit has some extra adapters and Teflon tape. I did not need any of the extras. The product is packaged very well and does come with instructions. You don't really need the instructions though. The instructions for the filter timer that mounts on top of the filter housing are on a separate self-adhesive label which you could attach to the inside of your sink cabinet or door. It explains the function of the single button on top of the filter. And apparently you will get a red blinking light and an audible reminder when the filter reaches the end of life. There is also an app which tracks the filter by serial number and can remind you when it's time to change the filter. Especially nice that it will track multiple filters. Changing the filter in the future is as simple as turning off the water supply, release the water pressure at the faucet, spin the filter one quarter turn to the left. Reverse the procedure for installation. Overall a great product and simple installation.

I bought this to replace an older waterdrop that had lost water flow. The installation was easy once I figured out how the pipes under my sink were arranged. The flow on it is great, equivalent to my regular faucet. My only issue is that the tubing for the unit is very large and very stiff, so it take up a lot of room under the sink. Not a problem for me, because I wasn’t using that space for anything, but worth considering if you keep a lot under there. I could save some of that space by trimming the tubing, but chose to leave it for now.

It's been 3 months. It works well, was easy to install, and doesn't leak. It knocked my cold water flow in half, but it seems like all of these filters do that. Takes twice as long to fill a pot of water, but the water is clean and that's what i care about. Our well water is bad news, and this cleaned it right up.

First and foremost if you are like me and want the black faucets to match your main faucet this is the only kit with it. With that being said, the filter that comes with it is the WD-RF10 which is the 10 inch 1 year model with 5 micron filtration. You can swap in the other filters to this base without issues. I installed the WD-RF15-UF which is the 15 inch ultrafiltration. This kit was very simple to install with the sticker template. Simply pick your mounting location, apply sticker, install screws and then hand the unit. The rest of the kit is very straight forward. My install time was about 45 minutes including cutting a mounting board. Key points. Make sure you tighten all of the fittings on the stainless tee. Make sure all tube ends you cut are square and fully inserted into the tree in fittings. Make sure all blue clips are installed to keep the tube from accidentally being undone. This kit is very high quality. The water taste is excellent with no traceable flavor like my famous filtered pitcher in the fridge.

This is perfect! We just recently got a new fridge and we were not able to find one in the size we needed with a water dispenser so we ended up going with this! We absolutely love it and are so excited to have good water to drink! This took my husband about an hour to install and it came with every piece and part you need! Highly recommend!!!!

Efter inkoppling satta jag i närheten av köket. Hörde då ett ylande visslande ljud. Visar sig att filterkranen började läcka inuti samt gick inte att stänga av. Tvingades att koppla ur den efter FYRA timmar!!! Ingen retur möjlighet då köpet & montaget var veckor för långt isär. Ännu en kina shop med dålig kvalitet.
