Brilliant! Using UV resin to create a ring spacer
Update: I’ve been using this since August 2025. It is now February 2026 and I can report without a doubt that this is an awesome product. Just tonight I reapplied some UV resin to compensate for the erosion of the UV after constant wear. It was by no means worn off, but the ring had gotten slightly looser. I also used it to solder together a three ring stacked set. Please see the included photos. I can unequivocably say this product works, and if you have issues with it, practice makes perfect. Just make sure you cure it for an extent period of time. It should not be sticky. I used a wooden clothing pin to hold my rings under the UV light and it worked perfectly. So just like the title says, all this is is UV resin. You put thin layers on the bottom of your ring to create a spacer that keeps your ring from spinning and gives you a better fit. As is usually the case with any product that requires a bit of finesse, practice makes perfect. If you’ve never used UV resin before, or your hands are shaky, you can expect to take several tries before you get this just the way you want it. A word of caution, the thinner your ring band is the harder it will be to apply. This product works by using surface tension to keep the resin firmly on the band. The less surface, the less tension. The resin is going to have a greater chance of dripping over the sides. Do not be dismayed though. Just get yourself a sewing needle, sewing needle, etc., and use it to scoop up the viscous UV resin and re-deposit it on the band. Having some resin on the sides is actually a good thing because there’s more surface coverage, which means you’re going to have better adhesion. How long this UV resin spacer lasts hinges completely on what you do while you wear your ring. If you’re constantly dunking your hands in hot water, or your ring is constantly banging on a hard surface, like a desk or a keyboard, chances are your spacer is going to detach a lot sooner. Since this is meant to be a temporary solution, all you need to do is pry off the old spacer and apply a new one. Having worked with UV resin for many years I’m surprised I needed this product to remind me of just how versatile and useful it could be. I am pleased that I bought it however, because the light is just the right size. Should you run out of your resin it’s very easy to buy more online, including through Amazon, and it’s not expensive. I recommend keeping the bottle because the application nozzle definitely makes the job a lot easier. Here are some tips to get the best results. What it’s got multiple balls in here how are you doing? 1) Prop your light up in the box, using the bottom leg as a stand and the back of the box as support. The upper leg becomes the arm you then dangle your ring from. 2) use a rubber band, string, or some kind of attachment to hang the ring from the “arm” of the light. Make sure that you can change the position of the ring so that you can cure it from both sides. 3) use a small mirror, or a piece of cardboard wrapped in the shiny side of aluminum foil and place that in front of the lamp while curing. This will reflect the UV light back towards the ring and give you a better cure. 4) make sure that your ring has been wiped down with alcohol. This will ensure that there are no oils or dirt present that could prevent the resin from adhering to the metal. I would not recommend using this on plastic as you could form a permanent bond. 5) don’t be afraid to do multiple layers and build up your spacer. You don’t have to do it all in one go. Just make sure that you completely cure each layer before you go onto the next. Use a needle or toothpick, or something similar, to manipulate the resin. This will give you better control and better results. Use a little bit of sandpaper, preferably wet dry 320 grit, and just lightly go over the UV resin to give it some tooth and help the next layer stick. It’s not a requirement, but again, we’re looking for best results. 6) if you’re having trouble with your UV curing, try this. Start with a clean ring. Put a small amount on the ring and flash cure it, meaning you’re going to have it under there for no more than 30 seconds or so, just enough to harden the outer layer. This will prevent the resin from moving when you take it off the lamp. Then submerge the resin covered portion of the ring in water and cure it the rest of the way with the lamp. This often speeds up curing and helps eliminate the stickiness that can come with some resins. Upon completion of curing, you can go over the resin with some alcohol to clean it up. 7) if you have an uncomfortable amount of spill over, resin is just hard plastic and can be sanded away. Use that same 320 grit sandpaper and gently sand away the unwanted portions of resin. You could even use a Mani Pedi kit if it comes with one of those electric files. Very helpful! Emery boards are another very helpful tool. All in all, I really really like this kit and I feel very stupid for having waited almost 4 months to use it. Now my brand new wedding ring fits like a dream and I don’t have any more issues with it spinning and ending up diamonds down. I highly recommend giving it a try and with just a little bit of practice, you’ll find that it’s easy to use and gives you that comfortable fit you’ve been looking for!

Buy this. Don't bother with anything else.
My spouse and I have tried various resizer products and this is by far the best one. The resin doesn't scratch your face like the hard plastic inserts, it doesn't get full of sunscreen like the wrap around resizers, it doesn't dislodge like the adhesive inserts. It just fits and stays there but it can be removed with some work if necessary. Don't bother with the other resizing options, just buy this. The one issue is that the UV hardener light requires an external power source and doesn't really stand up well. Having some photography gear, I was able to mount the light, connect it to my battery and proceed to lay down three layers and position the UV hardening light at just the right angle. It's best to avoid UV exposure, so let the UV light do its thing in another room. You will need to keep trying on the ring after every application of resin to get the right fit, but once you do, you're good to go. It doesn't irritate or change my skin color, it doesn't add bulk, it's impossible for anyone to notice without putting your hand into their face. There's enough resin for a large number of rings.

Perfect solution for loose rings
Worked really well so far, used it on 3 rings that were 1/2 size too big, one thick, two very narrow. All fit perfect now! Way better than the stickers or spiral plastic, wish I had bought this sooner instead. Its clear so most people will never notice it. Easy to make layers and get the thickness you want, and if you mess up, it comes off pretty easily with a warm water soak. I never take my ring off anymore. Took off 1 star because the product photos don't include the UV light, so I based it off of a review photo which showed a larger, free standing light you could put the ring under. Since that review, it has been replaced with a small light that sits on its side and you need to prop up on your own to get the right angle. I feel deceived that they changed the product SIGNIFICANTLY and still sell it under the same thing. The light works fine, but I had to use the light, then wait and turn it 180 so both sides are hit. The original light seemed easier and more substantial.

Rings no longer to big!!
This stuff works great. Adds that little bit of extra invisible width to the band to make it fit better perfect perfectly comfortable. You don’t even feel it and it has just a little bit of grippy so your rings don’t spin. Love this stuff.

Best product to make ring more snug
Wonderful product. I purchased almost 2 years ago— I workout in my ring, I wear it to work as a dentist, I’m always putting lotion and castor oil on myself and the gel stay put for almost 2 full years!! It wasn’t until I pulled out my back and rubbed a menthol based cream that it lifted off. The best product for the job as it’s hidden and you can layer material for snuggness. My skin is sensitive and this has never caused any problems.

I use this to temporarily "glue" my rings together
I love this stuff. I have an heirloom engagement ring and two wedding bands and I don't want to have them permanently soldered together because I am very particular about how I want them to sit, and if I ever need to resize them they'd have to take them apart which costs more money and the bands never look the same after that, which is less than ideal. I use this to temporarily "glue" my rings together and it works great! It can peel off without hurting anything if you want to take them apart put in hot water for a minute or two to soften the plastic or whatever you call it), and I can put them together exactly how I want. I like to have the bands sit higher on my engagement ring than they would if you just matched up the bottom of the bands, so I can do that with this and not have to resize anything or have some jeweler not put it exactly the way I want and need to have it re done until they get it right. I can do it myself! It doesn't last forever and eventually over a couple months just depending, one of the rings will come loose and so I peel off the residue and use this to glue them back together again. It is my perfect solution and it helps prevent damage to my rings from them rubbing if they weren't glued together. I love this stuff and hope they always make it. It's a great value for what it does.

It works until it doesn’t.
This is a very interesting way to make rings smaller, it makes you feel like a mad scientist, curing the glue with the UV light. But it has two major issues, I have fairly big knuckles so when I add enough glue to make it not spin around my finger I can’t slide the ring over my knuckles. So I tried to apply the glue while the ring was on my finger, which attached the glue to my skin and the whole process was pointless. The bigger issue is that the glue softens when immersed in wam water, so doing the dissues, taking a bath or even worse, soaking in my hot tub forces you to start over, which gets old very fast and turns me into a somewhat disgruntled scientist. Other than that, it’s pretty cool

It really works!
I bought a ring when my fingers were swollen and the next day it was too loose. I tried the tiny plastic “phone cord coil” type adjusters, but lotion would get stuck in the coils and they would also catch in my hair. Then I saw this stuff. I was a little skeptical, but I’m so glad I gave it a try. It does stink, but the smell goes away after it dries. I did some on the bottom to make the ring smaller and then two dots on each side by the top to help it not spin. The whole process was pretty darn easy. I did put the tube in the fridge before applying. I recommend this product.

Helpful, works as expected
Really helpful. I unfortunately spilled it all over my pants and had to discard them, but that was on me. 😅 This little tool can really help with rings that are too large.

Funziona bene, invisibile

Great solution
This review was written two weeks after applying product to my ring. I lost some weight and my ring was easily slipping off my finger. When my ring fell off my finger while I was at the beach, I decided that I needed to do something about it. My ring is a semi-wide Tiffany ring and I personally didn't like the look of other solutions out there. I found the product a bit tricky to apply but once I got going, it was fine. I put a handy towel on my desk and then performed the "operation" on it. I applied the adhesive once then applied the UV, and then tried on the ring. I decided to apply more adhesive next to the first one. Once, the second adhesive was dried by UV, I tried the ring on again and it was fine. I then let my ring sit overnight. My skin is sensitive and one of my fingertips accidentally touched the adhesive while applying. I simply washed it off and it did not irritate me. When wearing the ring, the adhesive did not irritate me. I rarely take my ring off and have it on in the shower or washing dishes. The adhesive has performed well so far and I am really happy because you cannot see that the adhesive is there. I will update the review after six months of use. ______________________ Update 5 months later: My ring is still going well and the application of this product has remained intact through showers, baths and swimming in the sea. It really is amazing. ---------------------------- Update 8 months later: The adhesive came off after 8 months (and during out summer heatwave) so I have re-applied the adhesive with my leftover glue. I found it really easy to apply the second time around because I knew exactly what I was doing. It was all over after a few minutes.

Easy and Effective
I recently got engaged and my ring is a tad bit big for me, which is fine because my fingers tend to swell up in the summer and shrink in the winter. I have ring adjusters, however those tend to become a little bit annoying because they sometimes unravel, or they move around the band of the ring and start to cover all of the diamonds along my band. I often found myself moving the coil adjuster back into place and it was quite annoying. This rubber coil adjuster was also turning a dull colour and making the part of the ring that it sat in look dirty. I got so tired of constantly cutting myself new rubber coil adjusters to keep my ring looking fresh so I decided to purchase this ring adjuster kit. I first tested this kit out on an artificial ring that I don’t care for, the sizing was great. I also attempted to remove the hardened gel from the artificial ring and this worked really well with the use of warm water and soaking the ring in there for approximately five minutes. Once I knew that this product was trustworthy I put it on my engagement ring and perfectly sized it to my finger. I have had my ring set for a week now and I haven’t had any problems. This is basically invisible and no one can even tell. I actually had a couple people ask me if I had my ring adjusted over the weekend. I have noticed that my ring doesn’t turn around my finger anymore and that this new adjusted portion doesn’t turn a different wonky colour either and it stays nice and clear. I highly recommend this as you can use it multiple times with your rings making sure that you can use your rings and wear them for a lifetime.
