Definitely living up to the Long range
I’m reviewing this on behalf of my fellow Home Assistant users. Specifically, I’m using this with my Beelink EQI12 that runs Home Assistant baremetal. The aforementioned Beelink has built in Bluetooth. Which is great, however, I recently got a outdoor ceiling fan that only listens for BLE advertisements to change modes, setting, light, fan speed etc, so a Bluetooth proxy on a simple ESP32 wasn’t going to work. My issue was range, my Beelink internal Bluetooth was not nearly consistent enough to work with the fan, which I attributed to a range issue. So I purchased this with it specifically being identified as long range Bluetooth. There is a warning in the description that doesn’t work with Linux, and since HA is kind of built around Linux I was concerned, but since HA provided its own drivers I figured wouldn’t be a issue. I plugged this into my machine with A like 9ft extension because it’s all I had, but really only have it like 2 feet from the server itself. I needed the extension for form factor being an issue, this dongle to bulky to fit between the other stuff I have plugged in, plus a little separation is good to minimize interference. I am using a 2.0 USB cable in a 3.0 port. HA immediately recognized it and I was able to add the fan via a BLE Advertising HACS integration once I went through the setup process. So far, it’s working great. Time will be more of a data driven success of this product. But as it stands now, solved my needs!

Decent Hardware, but Driver Issues on Windows 11
I had high hopes for this Bluetooth adapter, and while the hardware itself seems solid, the driver installation on Windows 11 is problematic. The device doesn’t automatically install the necessary drivers, and since there’s no official website to download them from, getting it to work is a hassle. I was able to temporarily get it running by uninstalling and reinstalling, but after a reboot, I kept encountering driver errors. This makes it unreliable unless you’re willing to troubleshoot frequently. If ZEXMTE provided proper driver support, this could be a great product. As it stands, it’s frustrating to use on Windows 11.

Effective daily driver
I've been using this for seven months. It's plug-and-play in the sense that there were no drivers I had to go out of my way to install on my Windows 11 PC. Connectivity is excellent, I don't have issues with sound dropping unless I walk to the opposite end of my house. I use this everyday and it's only presented issues not recognizing my headphones only 2-3 times. The solution has been as simple as unplugging the stick and plugging it back in. I haven't experienced any issues with lag. It's been worth the money.

Long Range, you just have to know how Windows Works
I suspect MANY of the "Doesn't Work" 1 star reviews don't know just how unfriendly it is to use a different Bluetooth adapter on a Windows machine other than the adapter on a motherboard. I don't blame them for not knowing. You must find the name of the Adapter (which is not necessarily related to the name of your motherboard) in Device Manager and disable just that device. For the average user, these are all things they should never have to touch. But, when you this device working, it's the best range of a replacement Bluetooth I've had so far. I get Bluetooth in most of my house from a downstairs corner. The only better range I've had are on audio transmitter only Bluetooth devices.

Worked right off the bat. Wow!!
I've been struggling with bluetooth not being strong enough 15 ft away on my desktop. I went into device manager and disabled my current bluetooth adapter on board. I added this adapter and there keyboard I'd been struggling with paired right away and was working just fine. Having two bluetooth adapters is not a good idea in win 11 because you cannot control which adapter you are going to connect to and it could be either one. So disable the current one you have in device manager before you plug this one in. That way you will not have trouble knowing which to disable. I could not believe how strong the signal was. I definitely recommend this if your existing bluetooth is not working properly. It was extremely easy to install and use and is a great value for the price. No driver had to be downloaded.

Poor Connectivity
It's cheap, it works if you don't want much out of it, but anything beyond a singular device and it falls completely flat. It's incapable of handling 2 different bluetooth devices at once, so if you're buying this for a PSVR2, do not bother with it at all. The latency isn't great either, rhythm games are impossible with it if you're using bluetooth headphones. It's easy to install, sure, but honestly you're better off with a dedicated Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card.

Strong, long range and low latency signal
I use this with my Bluetooth headphones and game controller. I usually dont use Bluetooth for audio because of the bad quality and bad latency but this one isn't bad and is high quality. Its class 1 technology so it might be what I was missing with other adapters for headphone use. Its 5.4 which is awesome to have too. No lag

große Reichweite
bin zufrieden mit dem Gerät . Wohne im dritten Stock und ich kann unten am Briefkasten noch im Kopfhörer meine Musik gut hören . Im Treppenhaus stockte es ab und zu , ist aber normal ,
