Worked well with no modification required for my 2001 Ford Ranger Extended Cab.
It works well. No modification was required. Not a real hard job to install ...... just a little tedious and time consuming. It took 1.5 hours to do the first door including trying to figure everything out. Should take less time on the second door. Watch the Youtube videos of how to do it.

Works perfectly!
Hardest part is drilling out the old rivet. Use a file or sand paper to smooth out the outer part of the cable to allow the new ferrule to slide on smoothly.15 minutes not including drilling out the old rivers.I only repaired the handle end for now.
