I play a lot of early choral sacred music on an old Linn Genki. One set of Tallis discs gave a very brittle sound on high voices. It was so bad that I concluded that there was a recording or manufacturing fault and stopped playing it. I pulled the SID out of a drawer and tried it again. Flawless sound! The distortion may have been due to laser scatter which the matt green surface has absorbed. Highly recommended.

Having used another product that made a vast improvement to the sound of my CD player that works in the same way as this product but was made out off a thiner material that my two year old made a complete mess off when he found it! So after some research on the Internet i found this product for about the the same price as the original. The improvement was even greater from the second product clearer and more detail I can not recommend this product more. If your thinking of upgrading your CD player buy this first you will be surprised about the improvement! This product was used on an Arcam Alpha 8 CD player.
