I must admit that I haven't tried any of the cheaper brands. I found that these socks and this level of compression worked perfectly for me. No edema problems during my trip. Not super easy to put on but not super hard either depending upon various personal factors. I ordered these to replace an identical pair that was 4 years old and had gotten too loose. Review: Snug soft and comfortable! - These are exactly what I’ve been looking for. I like wearing socks with my tennis shoes and I was having to put reg socks over my compression stockings. These are so comfortable, and still give me the compression I need and the look of wearing socks. Will save my other stockings for my dressier shoes and pants. I’m 118lbs wearing the small 20-30 mmHg. I’ve ordered another pair because I know I’ll be living in these.

THE FIT IS GREAT. I REALLY LIKE THESE SOCKS.
THE SOCKS ARE VERY GOOD. THEY ARE MADE OF VERY FINE MATERIAL.
