I'm guessing this is a solid copper chain since a magnet is not attracted to it.I have read there is a hybrid way of combining silver or another non magnetic metal with copper. I can't see the benefit of selling anything like that even with the price of copper going up.Having said that, I am very pleased with this necklace. It is a lovely twist and indeed 3mm.I am inclined to believe it is solid copper.It came faster than expected.FYII ordered an 18 inch and received 17.5 inch, including the latches. This didn't really bother me. It worked for what I wanted.

This is a great copper chain. Strong and looks good. Claps everything works fine. I was hoping to use it with other pendents but won't be able to. The attachment claps end is too big to go thru any others bales on my pendents. Never had that issue before. I'll be in the market for one that will be a bit smaller for that but Amazon didn't have any smaller. Great piece to have. Feels comfortable while wearing it.
