## Description

LION Heavy-duty, 6 wheel automatic numbering machine is the highest quality made anywhere in the world. LION automatic numbering stamp machine is precision crafted of one-piece hardened steel frame and finished in a high polish chrome. All metal interior construction will provide years of reliable use. Easy to grip handle is made of 100% recycled, high impact plastic. This 6 wheel stamp machine has 1 letter wheel, A-K excluding I, followed by 5 digit wheels, Roman style, 3/16" font, and has 7 movement settings. Machine can be set to automatic consecutive numbering, repeat, duplicate, 3, 4, 6 or 12 repeat. Drop cipher feature is available to drop any wheel from printing, except the unit wheel. Locking lever will lock machine to the position where wheels can be easily set. Convenient line gauge is marked on the base plate for exact positioning of imprint. This self inking numbering machine is ideal for sequential numbering operations and great for document identification number, date and number stamp, serial number stamp, inspection stamp, ticket stamp, etc. Dry ink pad and a bottle of black ink are included with each machine. While some of them could be indexed by location number or lot number, the fact is that having a stamp that provides the Bates numbering system found with legal filings in other matters is far suporior. Easy to use but do have a ocmplanit of somewhat incosnsitent stamping quality.

You can number every page, and even number different parts with a different starting letter, then keep a log of which parts were mailed or faxed where and when. So you can number some pages starting at A00001 and start other pages at B00001, and so on. Doesn't go all the way to "Z" but that hasn't been a problem so far. Lion has a whole line of automatic numbering machines. Seems like very last century mechanical technology, maybe even the century before, but it works great.

**Q: Will it imprint on soft metal?**
A: I do not think so.  The instruction sheet covers many different models.  The one I have is the C-75.  One of the other ones listed is the MM-21, which the instructions say "incorporating special rubber wheels to permit stamping on a variety of surfaces, such as corrugated cartons, wood and metal."  If on the other hand you are talking about the C-75 actually making the impression of the numbers and letters on a soft metal, it might, but I don't know how long it would last doing that.

**Q: Do any Lion stampers have a # sign?**
A: No

**Q: I want to use nbrs on semi soft clay. If machine inks or not does not matter - but it must leave the nbr impressed. Are the nbrs raised ?**
A: Don't know if it would work on soft clay, but the numbers are raised.

**Q: Can you move the letter to the end, after the numbers?**
A: I don’t think so. If you can I don’t know how.

This is a great stamper. Held up for our everyday use of it and weather elements. My only complaint is I wish they had more instructions for how to use/set up. I ended up having to watch YouTube videos of how to use the product. I wish that I had seen something on Lion website about how to use and help explain and this was my first time using a Lion stamper.
