Installed this expensive piece of equipment on my boat and turn it on for the first time in the bay and it doesn't work? No maps loaded can't read the depth gives me the water temp just fine but can't even find seaweed let alone a giant rock in the 85' deep bay. This one will not cooperate no matter what I try from the manual it's no good. Don't waist your money on this product. Stick with the hummingbird. might be smaller but it works!

No maps. Only GPS cordinates. Returned the item.

This unit didn't even last a year before the sonar, depth finder and temp gauge all stopped working. Their customer service has limited hours so if you work 8-5 like me good luck ever getting a hold of them. Wait time on hold for service is 45 minutes minimum every time you call. After playing phone tag with them for a month of "well go try this on the water and call us back" I got frustrated and waited till I had a day Friday off, nearly a year before I did. When I finally had a Friday off to call them, I was on the phone for 2.5 hours 90% of that time I was on hold. Service walked me through diagnostics while I was on the water. They were Not knowledgeable of their own product and had to keep asking for advice from others and looking in their manual to find the next step to walk me through. Finally they determined the unit was faulty and forwarded the claim to the warranty department who took a week to get back to me. When they did, they presented me with several option that they would ever so kindly charge me $185 to fix or $165 to replace the unit if they couldn't fix it. Or upgrade to a few other units for even higher fees. I will never buy one of their products again or any under their parent company.
